February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post Are there any good alternatives to Gillette available in Thailand? Been using Fusion for ages, but moving to Thailand soon and want to avoid murican products as much as possible from now on.
February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post Unfortunately, the Gillette Fusion razor is the greatest technological achievement in the history of shaving and there is no substitute. There will be people who tell you there is a better alternative or who fetishize old fashioned razors and the rituals surrounding them but they are wrong, wrong, wrong. Of this, I am surer of than anything else in this crazy damn world!

February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post Gillette will keep making "New And Improved" razors with expensive price tags to cater to those with tons of disposable income the toss in the trash. They'll never improve on this.

There are many choices available offering cleaner shaves for a fraction of the price. Haven't used Gillette or their rip off products for years.

February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post Go visit Watsons and check out their own brand '5 System Razor'. Similar to Gillette, but cheaper. They often 2 for 1 sales as well. I've been using them for a few years now. https://www.watsons.co.th/en/watsons-men-5-system-razor-1-handle-2-cartridges./p/BP_307927

Yes but that can cut you to shreds ...a safety razor is better IMHO agree that Gillette are overpriced (especially in Thailand) but they do the job well I tried many other brands but keep returning to Gillette...much less razor burn and irritation with them and can make one blade last a couple of months @ 1 x per week shave...still expensive but ......
February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post DORCO are reasonable. Available in Big C. Not as good as Gillette, but nothing really is. Unfortunately, Gillette went woke.
February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post A number of off topic posts about American politics have been removed. This topic is “Gillette alternatives”
February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post I buy BIC disposable razors, a French company. I base my purchases on whether they are value for money, not their origin. Having said that, the USA does not seem to produce quality goods and services any more, since bean counters took over. An exception is military equipment, which I don't need.
February 15, 20251 yr Popular Post The BIC replaceable blade razor does the job for me, at about 1/3 the overprice of Gillette.
