Steak deal sounds good. I paid 169 at King Kong buffet.

I like Sizzler okay. I would not order beef again but most of the pork and chicken dishes are ok. 

 

I like the salad and soup bar, the fruit is okay, and I ate at one a couple weeks ago that had frozen yogurt on the salad bar. 

 

It's not great, but it's good for a reasonably priced meal. 

 

It's not French toast, It's grilled "cheese" toast. 

 

I think it's a good value.

Sizzler salads are OK now and again. If I lived in town and was single I can see making it more of a regular thing. The kid and I usually eat at one of the noodle joints. If old lady comes along we hit up the buffet joints, usually 600 baht each. The food courts are usually crowded with no seating. Not my favorite place to eat.

 

I wouldn't bother having steak at Sizzler. I feel if you want a good steak you have to be willing to pay premium money.  The buffet joints have great cut of beef as long as you don't mind cooking in broth.

I really like Aka lately

 

Had a decent Ravioli and a Caesar salad at “Fam Time” at the “new” Bangkok One complex the other day, it was nice enough.

 

They had an interesting Indian joint I’m going to try next time I’m there.

Agree with Fam Time, as dined at the branch south of T21.

Aka is a two hour limit, and with my wife we have to stay every minute. It’s a grill buffet, , which is nice because it takes a lot longer so I’m not stuffed after a half hour and having to wait an hour and a half for the wife. It’s pretty nice.

I had Sizzler just now, and it was nice enough. A had a fish-pork combo (~350) and my wife had a Thai style chicken dish and a milkshake.

I just had salad bar. The meals looked 50% overpriced. Top up coke is ok deal. Rather go to a proper restaurant.

Salad bar is 139 at lunch. Had 6 pepsi glasses for 69 baht. I know plenty of good restaurants in Udon with western food at 180 to 300 baht. Sizzler prices were 300 to 800 baht.

That said, they look like nice enough places to eat.
