Hamas Sinks to New Lows with Hostage Body Swap

I believe all Thai hostages have been released now by the terrorists but you need to ask yourself what political purpose did it serve by them taking Thai nationals hostage in the first place?
Also the massive Irony is there seems to be a backlash against Israelis currently in certain parts of Thailand and it was the Israelis that negotiated their freedom, just goes to show some backward political thinking by this country sometimes.

There is still one Thai being held - location and health unknown and there are two bodies that need to be repatriated to Thailand.

Well, kindnapping mothers and babies, then allowing them to die or be intentionally killed is, well, about as bad as it gets... then they can't even return the right bodies and put on a freak show in the process.

Hamas/PLO is evil, no doubt about it... and if any of you are wondering why no Arab states will allow them in, then you just need to learn the history of what happened to Jordan and Lebanon when they did so back in the day, it was total chaos and resulted in years of war.  Always makes my laugh when deluded people in Europe protest in their favour that have no idea who they are supporting... remember the protests with "LGBTQ+ supports Palastine" and they would be the first ones thrown off the nearest building. Idiots!

Also, Arafat could have ended it as Clinton and Barak offered up the two-state solution, but he declined it in favour of a continued cycle of violence. Any country that lets in Hamas/PLO into their country is asking for trouble, hence no-one wants to do it.

It is lunacy to continue to negotiate with terrorists for 2 or three people at a time. Does Israel really intend to do this for the next decade? Hamas can never return all the hostages because they know they will all be killed at that point. The problem is the policy of never negotiating with terrorists should have been declared and adhered to.

But with rewarding Iran for returning hostages, trading an arms dealer for a basketball player, trading terrorists and getting some loser that joined the other side in Afghanistan. Etc. was all a sign that we will bargain at any cost to save just about anybody.

Kill them all and declare if you ever take a hostage again you the only negotiation is how you are going to die. There is no other end game when somebody wants to wipe you out. There is no compromise or off ramp.

Israel has previously used DNA testing for returned bodies. Hamas would have known Israel would carry out the same procedure this time round as they did with the killed children. It really does come across an an unfortunate mistake as Hamas would know doing so deliberately would create a huge upset with the returnee process and very likely an early return to war.

Like it was a mistake to kill those people on Oct 7th? Like it was a mistake to take those hostages? Like it was a mistake to kill the children who they held hostage?

G**ss the place. They can do nothing to redeem themselves. Who wants them?

She was murdered by Hamas, thats what went on. Keep your Hamas apologist disgusting thoughts to yourself if you don't want to be called out then. Now go back and read your post again to tell me that's not what you were doing. There is no other words for it than Hamas apologist.

No I was not acting as an apologist for Hamas terrorism, but expressing an opinion on the return of the 'wrong body' adding that, to me, it made no sense whatsoever given the highly likely reaction of the Israelis as it's apparent that at this time Hamas has no wish to return to war Now Israel has delayed the release of 620 Palestinian prisoners, hardly likely to go down well with the Palestinian populations support for Hamas. If GAZA were able to have open and free polling,(not going to happen as Gaza is rules at gunpoint) bet HAMAS would have an extremely negative rating. If you cannot handle opinions which differ to yours, obviously you're not suitable for forum discussions.

Its psychological warfare on Israelis .

Palestinians "winning" by tricking Israel , seeing all those Israelis lining the road and solemnly offering their condolences to a coffin that contained a Palestinian woman .

I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought that it may have been a mistake , BUT , they gave the correct body back immediately , which shows that they knew who the correct corpse was from the off set .

Hamas will resume the war at the first opportunity , its their only hope on winning

Nope, you were making an excuse as to why Hamas got it wrong. Typical apologist. Hamas don't need excuses for the terror and the horror they inflict.

Here's some more mistakes, bringing in hostages that are not due for release to watch the hostage show they put on to release the other hostages. Can make no head or tail of why they would do that apart from pure terror. I am sure some apologists will have a go though.

"Hamas cruelly dangled freedom before 2 hostages while the Red Cross sat meters away.

Every world leader should be publically outraged, demanding the hostages' release, slamming Hamas for this pure torture and condemning the Red Cross for doing nothing about it.

No more excuses."

Exactly what Netanyahu is also saying after the return of all hostages;. no wonder there is very little progress. War may even recommence rather than committing to Phase 2 of the negotiations or will Netanyahu carry on to try and stay in power? Lots of Israelis very unhappy with Netanyahu.

Of course he is, Hamas cannot be allowed to stay as they are in Gaza. Its not just him saying it either. You carry on with that apologist rhetoric simple1

Hamas’s top negotiator in the ceasefire and hostage talks said despite suing for an end to the war, the group would continue to pursue Israel’s destruction, looking toward Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a “compass.”

I was replying to your statement that claims that "at this time Hamas has no wish to return to war ".

Hamas need the war to continue for them to have any possibility of them winning

<snipped for brevity. Hamas will make such boasts for propaganda purposes, but with no ability to achieve. Whereas Israel can deliver on Netanyahu's commitment to mainly wipe out Hamas, but at what cost to the civilian population and relations with the other regional powers. No mention of Islamic Jihad who are even more extreme Islamists than Hamas

The only propaganda I am reading is yours, dismissing clear threats to Israel from Hamas to repeat Oct 7th even after the ceasefire deal and horror show of the hostage body releases.
