"Recommendations include curbing loud behaviour in shared spaces, respecting private property, adhering to traffic rules, observing visa limitations, dressing suitably, and negotiating courteously in markets." I'm a bit out of the loop, but are Israeli/Jewish tourist generally known to behave poorly? The answer is: yes they very often behave poorly. I come across them frequently in recent months. Polite, courtesy is unknown to them.

You provided ONE link from 9 years a go where an anonymous person asked a question about it on a forum and 7 people replied . I did google websearch and only two results came up and those two results were for this thread on ASEANNOW Bottom line is that you just want some admiration from someone whilst speaking derogatorily about other people from other Countries . *Israelis are very unpopular, but everyone likes me * 1

I could provide you a link for this week but I know will just argue some more. That no Thai has ever said it in front of you doesn’t surprise me. That you have never seen any Thai language news doesn’t surprise me. I am not arguing with you, I am telling you

We just keep saying the same things back and forth to each other . Never seen an Israeli bag or heard anyone speak Hebrew. So did you overhear them all speaking Hebrew and carrying Israeli bags? So I guess from your experience in other countries Jews speak the countries language. In that case they must all be carrying Israeli bags yes? Or is there a particular Jewish bag that can label them according to their religion? 1

He searches google about thai language in English and wonders why he gets no results. 1

Or tell the difference between written Hebrew and Arabic? On several occasions I know of, Israelis were mistaken for Arabs because people (Thai and farang) thought they were speaking Arabic. I guess in the mind of an antisemite, it would be easy to twist things round the other way and mistake Arabs for Israelis.

You don't seem to understand the difference between Israeli & being just Jewish. I lived in a Jewish neighborhood for many years. No, nobody communicated in Hebrew but in the local language or sometimes Yiddish. You still got a lot to learn. 1

While some Israelis may look like Arabs because they are Semitic, language is very different. 2

Yes I do actually, I also understand that there are around 2.1 million Arabs who hold Israeli passports. However lets not takeaway your identification by bags and hebrew eh

I know there's a big difference between Hebrew and Arabic, just like there's a big difference between Thai and Cambodian or between Japanese and Korean. That doesn't change the fact that many people can't distinguish between them. The question was whether you can distinguish between Hebrew and Arabic if you hear Hebrew spoken on the street or see it on a bag. BTW, the word "Semitic" or "Semite" is considered obsolete when referring to race or ethnicity. There are Semitic languages but no Semitic people in modern times. https://www.ajc.org/translatehate/Semite Also, Israelis must feel very safe in Thailand if they are openly speaking Hebrew in front of strangers. The standard advice from the National Security Council and the Foreign Ministry of Israel for decades has been for Israelis traveling abroad not to call attention to themselves. Every Israeli is a target for terrorists. https://www.gov.il/en/pages/national-security-council-passover-travel-warnings-28-mar-2024 .

I think Hebrew and Arabic both sounds and look VERY DIFFERENT. As far as speaking Hebrew, have you heard Hebrew accented English? May as well be Hebrew. Do you suggest they play mute?
