Residence Garden. Nova Park?

Read the views for Nova Park on Google Maps. Very entertaining for the reader, not so much for the people who stayed there!

I certainly haven't clicked on any emoticon, but I guess some people might think that 31k is a bit much for a 32sq.m room in a 3* hotel in a less than picturesque area.

Of course if you are in Pattaya for the nightlife and want to be in the centre of that, you may wish to pay a premium for that. But to break the budget for it seems a step too far.

For that standard, I would expect to pay half that price.

Someone mentioned Yensabai Condotel, which is indeed around 15k or less monthly for a 40 sq.m. room.

Another example, Diamond City Place: https://www.renthub.in.th/en/diamond-city-place-south-pattaya Quoted from 7.8 to 15.8k per month.

Why on earth would someone choose to pay double and think they negotiated a great bargain?

It's fine if the location is right for you, but let's not pretend that it is great value for money as a monthly rate.

All valid but in my case I'm not breaking my budget and it is the location and pool that is attractive.

One of these "up to you" situations I suppose.

Not your budget, but the budget quoted by the OP.

I guess it might have been helpful for the OP to describe what they see as a 'reasonable location'.

Personally, I would not want to stay in the central area with no view. I think a pool is standard most everywhere.

So in effect, you are paying to be on Soi Leng Kee, which is fine if you want to be there.

Especially since Opey only 1000 baht a night on Agoda. So that's actually not a discount at all.

Also stayed in this hotel every now and then, though not monthly. I recall they did not have monthly discount rate.

But the hotel was absolutely excellent for the money. Can recommend to anyone - however I recall they presumably had a policy that you should not change girlfriend every night, not sure though as I had a long rent at the time and that was fine.

It's a hidden gem...now that I am living here can share to others... Unbeatable value.

Only advise I can give is that if you prefer soft bed like I do, need to ask if could get room with one as ome rooms have firmer ones and some quality soft ones.

Perhaps I need to stop living in the distant past. 😄

I don't know if the same owners as before or changed hands. But seems good reviews lately too so probably no change.

BB House on Dongtan beach. starting 680 - 780 to 1350 night. Cash only. Can be paid 4 days at time and stay "for ever" if needed.

Nothing fancy and a bit noisy but great stuff and vibe. Microwave and free coffee/hot water 24/7.

Dancing and yoga 30 meters. Beach across the street.

Very international clientele.

I have a friend coming, plans to stay a month or more, and would like to do it in a decent residence hotel rather than an AirBnB.  I scanned Everything Pattya but the places I found there were mostly in the cheap category -- maybe not good in terms of safety and convenience? In any case, I was wondering if anyone might have a recommendation for a monthly hotel in a reasonable location with a budget in the 15000 to 25000 range? Or just someplace that they have had a good experience with.

Look at google maps and read reviews. Then visit your top 3 picks. Best way I found.

Yeah, of course I've done that. There isn't much information on longer-term hotels and google reviews aren't so reliable so I was hoping someday here would have some personal experience they could share. I know some of the forum members have stayed for long periods in hotels in Pattaya. But thanks anyway.

I seem not to have any possibility of clicking on an emoticon!

Why is this?  How can I restore my emoticons?

I am looking for monthly rental hotel or apartment, anywhere around Soi 3 4 or 5, or anywhere near Nova Gold, Nova Park, KTK, that area if anyone has any suggestions. I am looking at late November this year.
KTK offered me 1,700 a day, and in the past when I stayed there they gave me monthly rates, but for some reason they say they can't offer monthly rates at that time, and the 1,700 which worked out to be 51,000 a month was a "discounted rate". Staff there are always difficult to deal with.
Looking for a place with a nice pool and some sort of fitness centre inside.
Any suggestions appreciated, thank you.

Late November.... I wonder if the Pattaya Fireworks Festival, being so lucrative for hotels etc, impacts on you trying to book a monthly deal.

I don't know, but it seems it's very difficult to find a room for long stay. 51k for a month is a 'bit' over the top...especially booking in advance.
