There is always pain with any change. Would it be painful for awhile, yup. In the end theres not a single thing we get from the EU that we couldn't get elsewhere or produce ourselves. It would require many business's to pivot in another direction or die.

As for the video, the American public needs to see exactly what they saw, how the real world works. 

Sounds like the right wing in the UK prior to Brexit: "They need us more than we need them", "we hold all the cards", "We'll do our own deals and they'll be better"etc. Didn't work out too well did it. None of that was true. And neither would it be with the US.

The EU was form to keep the dollar as world currency, replace the dollar as world currency America will become a third world country

It probably could live without anything from the EU, but not at zero cost.

It would just trigger some economic turmoil. You know  the kind of economic disturbance which usually leads to a defeat at the next election for the ruling party....
