A road crash occurred in Nakhon Ratchasima on the evening of March 6, resulting in the deaths of three people and leaving two others seriously injured. The incident involved a pickup truck that overturned while returning from a graduation photo session.

At approximately 18:30 emergency services were alerted to the crash on Ban Nong Khae Nam Road in the Nong Khae Nam district of Nakhon Ratchasima. Upon arrival, rescuers found a severely damaged Ford pickup truck, registered in Rayong, lying on the roadside.

Nearby, the lifeless body of 65-year-old Sukritta from Khon Kaen was discovered outside the vehicle. Four others were found to be severely injured: 55-year-old Manit the driver, who sustained a broken leg; 62-year-old Waettha from Nakhon Phanom, 63-year-old, from Khon Kaen and 18-year-old Suthima from Bangkok.

Sadly, Waettha and Kaewfa later succumbed to their injuries at Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital, while Manit and Suthima remain in hospital under medical care.

The group had been returning from a graduation photo shoot at a university in Khon Kaen and were en route to their home in Ayutthaya when the crash occurred. Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that drowsy driving may have been a contributing factor. However, further inquiries are underway to determine the exact cause.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
