What facts did the judge recite?. Why dont you post the decision? What was the case about? Was that the holding of the case, or District Judge  dicta?

 

Have you ever read the Mueller report? How about the decision you refer to?

Just two examples (only two). Without my approval a property agent in Pattaya moved a Russian family into my luxury house on Jomtien beach.  They trashed the house, paid part rent only, very late, and several times the police were called because of violence.

 

Brit buddy had a luxury house same village. He accepted the prospective Russian tenant because they accepted a high rental agreement but soon discovered they never paid the rent and were harassing the neighbors who were complaining about very loud music all night and loud motorcycles coming and going all night. Police came twice and told them to pay the rent and stop the noise. They ignored the police. They were then deported.

It's why I always advise my clients to consider real estate investment trusts on the stock exchanges as opposed to being an actual landlord dealing with actual people.

 

Can't say for Thailand but it's dangerous these days to be a landlord collecting rent in Canada. ('Rent is Extortion' and 'Keep Your Rent' movements... Leftie funded)
