Is 20 baht ok to pay for a joint

Most places seem to want 30 or more baht, but is 20 baht ok with out insulting the seller of Thai sticks.

Depends what's in it.    I had a guy try  to charge me 200 bt for a brickweed joint in a Bangkok "dispensary" last year,  so 20bt on the face of it sounds ok.

Whats 10 bt at the end of the day anyway?  you sound like a real miser

Avoid buying any pre-rolled joints. You have no idea what might be in there. Could be half bunk weed and half oregano. Just buy flower and roll your own and then you're sure of what you're smoking. If you don't know how to roll then buy some pre-rolled cone papers and pour the weed in. Perfect joint every time.

I guess you would talk about these small stickies with pure weed in it? That can easily be done for 20 baht as it would just be around 0.30 grams per joint for the smaller ones while even I can get weed from 10 grams for 25 baht per gram. I usually buy 100-200 grams at the time now. Ignore those who not know better.

I really do not understand, I am personally too busy business wise, that nobody starts weed shops with the real deal prices + consistency. Basically it is possible to just wipe out 60% of all existing shops within months if starting to offer genuine prices in the main areas / cities.

 

I'm pro business, a capitalist, but I have nothing with ripping people off or charging BS prices.

 

If you talk about something costing 400-500 baht a gram you should be talking cup winning weed already that is perhaps even haze, expensive seeds, experienced grower. That is the stuff they now try to sell for like 1500-2000 baht.

 

Prices in retail commercial or tourist areas should be 50-100-150-200 baht a gram at most for lower and higher quality. Something like in my photo should really never be costing more than 100 baht a gram or it is simply ripping off business.

 

I hate the hypocrits in the industry as well, who always said they belong to the real stoners and want to make as many people happy as possible, who are just milking this now hard and do not give a rats arse about that philosophy anymore.

the shops around DMK charge 20 to 30 baht for a joint

the quality, don't know and it really doesn't matter so much as long of the joy of "living " here is pleasant and satisfying .
