In terms of gas, that's true. But not to other areas of trade. But "Germany at all" is not true: According to media reports, the EU is the largest LNG market for Russia. According to the report, Germany still obtains an estimated four percent of its gas from Russia, but 13% from the USA.

The US BANNED oil imports in 2022 by executive order, but they use their own loopholes, as they don't buy directly from Russia, but through third party, so your claims don't hold any ground.
