Wow the negativity and jealousy of posters on here. She must have been rated as a looker  or would not have had these many pages of anti or pro comments.

 

I did not see that she was asking for financial support from anyone but someone who was prepared at a young age to break from tradition. This obviously upset others who do not agree with what she does or what she says BUT I do not think she was asking for your support.

 

Keep on doing what you were doing and be happy she will not want your approval or disapproval.

Well, I'm married, have a family, have a good life here, and have been here almost 2 decades. 
Miss "I'm Going To Live In Thai Paradise Forever."  Hard to believe.  It takes relationships to anchor someone here.  A single farang gal with a typical farang single gal attitude sans a relationships that can anchor her to this country?  I don't see it happening.  Gals age sorta like ripe bananas: looks great at first and then shrivels, turns ugly colors, and turns to mush. A lot of these gals are the "I'm A Strong Woman Who Doesn't Need A Man" types.  Sounds lonely.  Then suddenly you're a farang female well past her prime, and honestly, not even desperate Thai guys would want her.  Actually to hook up with a Thai guy - doubt it.  Thai gals still outnumber Thai guys and there is always available Thai hotties. Whose going to want a sun-wrinkled, aging, farang gal?  The shine is going to rub off her love for Thailand fairly soon I imagine. I imagine she'll eventually put herself in a compromising situation within the Thai culture that she'll not be able to handle with her "Strong Woman" routine and the aftermath with be the death-knell of her stay.  But then again - if she marries a Thai guy.  Those gals tend to do well.  And why not - it's a ticket to citizenship.

When did the DTV visa start? Has anyone completed the initial 180 days yet? Wondering what's going to happen about taxes

 "Does she pay taxes here?"  What does that matter? She is obviously contributing to the country's economy.

She will be paying for here accomodation, living expenses etc.

Pleaseeee. I have a decent life and have no intention to make money in social media. I have nothing against who does that. I am a very honest person and have no intention to sell bullsh*t online. Her behavior is typical of someone that is new to Thailand. Just wait a few more years and we will see what happens to her.
