Advice for married resident (ret visa) returning to Thailand on May 1st after 2 weeks away.

02 04 2025,  I will be returning to Thailand on the 1st of May 1105 hrs following a 2 week visit to Canada.  I am married to a Thai lady, have a house book, pink card and a valid retirement visa..  Any advice on getting through immigration at Suvarnabhumi airport w/o getting caught up in the first day of new rules and tourists visiting for the first time?

Thanks in advance for any comments🙏

Presumably you have your re-entry permit and are aware of the TDAC?  So is your question more related to avoiding the crowds of people not having filled in their TDAC?  I have never used the paid for fast track/priority arrivals services, do they even still exist?  But if over 70 you can use the priority lane in any event.

The married to a Thai + house book etc has nothing to do with things.

If the TDAC is introduced on May 1 you need to do the online application.

This can be done up to 3 days prior (no earlier)

Current thread running with link to application and advice.

Check it out.

May be they will not let you boarding the Plane without having the TDAC available on your phone or as print out.

Either you have a multiple-entry visa, and you're on the safe side, otherwise, hopefully you applied for a re-entry permit before you left the country, otherwise your retirement visa will have been cancelled.

When travelling with the wife we go through the Thai citizen area together. Would be interesting to know if the pink ID is sufficient if travelling alone.

Last time when I came back to Thailand (2 weeks ago), the Immigration staff told wife has to come first.

So, it's probably only working, when you travel with your wife.. married alone is not enough...

I'm waiting for some first hand information, when a married solo traveler tries to use the Thai counter!

The thread is about TDAC.

What are you asking about.

Married means nothing in regards to TDAC requirements.
