Good videos. I'd also like to see your review on Kung's if you have a chance to try their breakfasts.

  • So basically what this thread is saying is - if you want the exact same breakfast that is served at almost every bar in the city - just go to any bar in the city. Because almost every breakfast s

  • Breakfast is so easy to make at home and much better.  Do expats really go out regularly and eat breakfast. They wouldn't know an over easy eggs style. Cold toast, frozen butter, instant coffee.

  • Cheap breakfasts (below 200 baht) are not worth the money. Better spend the 200 baht at a 7/11.   The only ok breakfasts for me are the 300-400 baht buffet breakfasts of some hotels. They're

The original (as far as I know) 99 baht full breakfast (at I Rovers) many years ago before Simon moved and opened up Retox in Soi Lengkee....(Retox eventually folded during Covid although Lengkee closed before Soi Diana)

For a really good quality breakfast there’s nowhere better than the German Bakery on 2nd Jomtien  , just after Soi 9. The menu is amazing, everything freshly made. Great sausages, , cold meats, fresh baked bread, cheeses, and a complete breakfast . You can have this all morning, , I often go there for an evening meal.Opens very early, but last orders around 6pm. You can also buy sausages, great ham, cheese etc. From the fridge to take home. The place is spotlessly clean. As are the toilets.

It's my belief that the kitchen will be in a similar state of the toilets . So spotless toilets , for me that means a clean , hygienic kitchen . I have seen and used some filthy Thai  bars & restaurants toilets and would not order a meal . I don't know if Thai restaurants are subject to unannounced government hygiene  inspections as most of the Western world has but I doubt it .

Old Nicky's on Buakhao vs the New!

Thanks for some good info and for sure Nickys is very good but others that you have shown that include hot dog sausages and reconstituted ham , I would rather go without . Nickys is my favorite in Pattaya.
