Anyone who reads the news accepts there are idiot foreigners who misbehave. 
 

Link to as many stories as you like - there are some idiot ayhole ‘people’ in Thailand, both foreigners and Thai’s…  outside of Thailand too….

 

Your view is binary - Foreigners bad - Thais good - you fail at any level to see balance instead choosing myopic & delusional bias.

 

None of that impacts the perspective that something is missing from the build up in this story (this thread) & you are either too blind, too dumb or deliberately ignoring this.

That is the heart of this OP, farangs being disrespectful to our Thai hosts.

All you people that don't know the area commenting as if you are an expert. It's Jomtien not Pattaya for a start. The beach area is frequented by homeless drunk noisy Thai's at night and this is clearly the issue. It appears that one of them made a derogatory comment to the fat farang's fat woman and this started the issue. The farang is obviously a bully but he had a reason to react. As usual as soon as one Thai guy gets attacked the others join in. The farang probably wasn't even drunk.

I also doubt the reason was an insult to anyone's woman. Probably connected to the reason why the jailbird attacked the other local who was holding a beachmat.
