We reply because of the same instinct that makes us want to gawk at a tragedy... Humans are interested in seeing another human crash n burn... Metaphorically 😉

Many times over the years I have walked into shopping malls, outlets, stores etc in Thailand and there has been water on the floor (a spill) with no warning signs in place.

According to ChatGPT, these establishments can be sued for negligence if one slips, falls and becomes injured through no fault of their own..

Is this correct?

Just checked out of 'rehab', moving to my isolated log cabin in a little less than two weeks.

This was already answered in my topic that was closed down due to unknown reasons.

Public safety is of no concern here. The cash register takes #1

Are you now American? I can only imagen those people coming up with sue-ing a wet floor.

Wot you need to do is get yourself down to your nearest shopping mall and seek out a part where the floor is wet.

I would suggest something like the wet fish section of a grocery store and grab a coffee and hang around waiting for someone to slip and crack their skull.

Then sue the owners for trauma due to the nightmares brought about by witnessing the event.

Matter of fact if you find a potential slip hazard , give me a bell and I’ll join you, this time next year we could be millionaire’s.

Champagne , Champagne for everyone …🥂 ching ..ching 🤣

Let's scenario it out shall we - Let's say an elderly man (80+) goes to a thai store for a bottle of milk. He doesn't notice due to his bad eyesight that the floor is wet, and there are no visible danger signs to suggest that it is.. He then slips on said wet floor, breaking his back, rendering him in a wheel chair for the rest of his life.

Now, who's fault was it? The old man trying to buy the milk or the shop owners for not cleaning the mess up or putting a visible danger sign up in time??
