Anthrax outbreak in Issan?
You first have to find out how the Anthrax spores were spread to kill the farmer, a grazing cattle beef animal? cattle and goats would be most suspect here in Thailand, but other wild animals can spread it, contact with an infected animal can spread the spoors vie a cut or scrape can cause Anthrax. About 30 years ago now in my area farmer found a dead dairy cow in his field one morning, so a lot of the locales had some of the meat, a few became sick, went to the local hospital, tests found out it was Anthrax no one died, but that is one-way spoors are spread. I live in a big dairy cattle area, to my knowledge we have had no cases of Anthrax just recently, but we would not be likely to know ,a farmer finds ,say a dead cow etc. one day ,he will just ring up the local knacker man who will just take it away ,no tests will be done on the animal. As you know Anthrax spoors can last a lot of years in the ground, one reason it can be so deadly -

LTR-WP VISA Strategy
I have no experience in applyinf for LTR outside of Thailand, so I can comment on that approach. But my recommendation would be to do something different than what you noted. If you come on a 90-day Type-O Visa, and then try to get the LTR, you will possibly be nervous as the clock counts down on your 90-days, and you may not have received the LTR visa yet when the 'clock runs down' (ie 90-days expire). So why risk any stress over that? Instead, one possibility (assuming you are age-50 or older) that is different is : 1st obtain the 90-day type-O. Enter Thailand. 2nd. Immediately open a Bank Account. Place 800k-THB in the bank, and 3rd. apply for a 1-year extension (based on retirement) on your 90-day type-O, to stay in Thailand. Then 4th, AS SOON as you get your 1-year extension, apply for the LTR. This way you have almost 1 year to get the LTR and have massive time margin if for some reason BoI end up delaying your LTR due to their own internal constraints. My LTR-WP took just under 6-months to get. Fortunately I applied within a couple of weeks after getting a one-year extension on my type-O, so I was not stressed in the slightest about time in regards to my LTR-WP taking MUCH longer than normal. Just something to consider. . -

LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
Well, I uploaded about 12 pdfs from my laptop, a couple of days later I answered a question on my health cover, and within a fortnight I god instructions to get my passport stamped. So unlike it was a clerical error they liked my type. About fifty of my former UN colleagues got the same treatment. And you, maybe should stop talking out of your anus of things you know nothing about. I am not saying you are trolling but definitely a IUI. Bye -
