I have a problem about pain when walking on the heel of my foot. After recovering from a twisted ankle made it worse

Diagnosed with flat feet and plantar fasciitis. Anyone have any experience with this and recommendations about shoes exercise or any other method

Arch supports are th3 key.

You can get some shoes here with arch supports built in.,

Or you can buy stand alone arch supports. There are various types of these, many with little pads that go under the arch, I did nto find that as comfortbale or usefu; as simple elastic sleeve like this

There are also some places in Thailand that do custom made orthotics but you'd need to indicate where in Thailand yo uare

I am located in Bangkok.  Are walking shoes with arch support helpful and are there any brands recommended. Tried changing insoles but didn't help.

Yes shoes with proper arch support help.

In Thailand, some Dr Scholls have arch support. There are also some outlets selling orthotic shoes in Bangkok Hospital (ground floor passsgeway to the Food Court) and Bumrungrad (mezzanine).  Or these shops

You can buy insoles with arch support on Lazada. Worked for me

And get something with extra padding for under your heel.  I have insoles, and quite comfy.  Provide nice padding for the heel only, though thin layer all the to the toe, from LAZ, and inexpensive.

Name brand (forget) but green & yellow color, I think.

Had this in one foot for months, finally got  well. then had it in the other foot for another half year.

Two tips:

- Never walk barefoot on a hard surface. Not even for a few steps. Find suitable slippers for indoors. Wear flip-flops in the shower. Try  to find a pair of Dr. Scholl's sandals that are not too hard nor too spongy. A little arch support is good, but not too much.

- Gently stretch your calves several times a day for a count of twenty. Videos available on YouTube. This is a crucial ingredient of healing.

Years ago I suffered from heel spurs and was an avid runner so I too searched....found SORBATHANE INSERTS....this material was even shown on Johnny Carson show.  Anyway, it was developed for race horses with heel problems.  I used the inserts regularly until the my body developed cushioning around the heel spurs.  Other friends I had over the years that suffered the same thing couldn't find the inserts but got a shot regularly from the foot doctor and said it normally worked for a year or so.  Just saying as decades later, I still have no heel spur problems since those early days in the '70's .  Good luck.  IMHO the doctors here will know exactly what to do as what you suffer from is pretty common.

Arcoxia works well for this type of pain.

But I would be careful using it.  It was a reformulation of Vioxx, which was taken off the market due to increased risk of heart attack.

I noticed when I used Arcoxia my pulse was significantly higher.

I was prescribed Vioxx for the same condition.  A few weeks after I started using it they removed it from the market in the US.  Arcoxia was never approved there either.

When my wife found out it was taken off the market she threw away my remaining pills.  I was kind of upset.  I didn't want to stop using it worked so well.
