Paranoia is fueled by fear and anxiety. And certainly your belief that governments, health organisations and pharmaceutical companies are engaged in in a massive global conspiracy to deny the truth about the vaccines is a striking example of paranoia

Why would they bother? Global conspiracy is an AMERICAN phenomenon. It's limited to brain dead looneys in Europe & the UK.

Whenever you go into a hospital all the nurses and doctors are wearing masks to prevent them getting air-borne infections. I trust THEIR JUDGEMENT over conspiracy theory nutcases.

Their health depends on wearing a mask.  But if you don't want to wear a mask that's your choice. But you might not get access to some places that you want/ need to go.

Many do not wear a mask, but considering that the hospital is where all the sick people go that would be the place where it might make a difference.

FFS, it's just a mask!!  Why on earth would wearing a mask ruin your life and your fragile mental health?  🙂

I have delicate lungs.  I have the best quality face-mask with removal/washable filter.  I often wear my mask when outside to protect my lungs from air pollution.  It works!  I wear my mask always on planes to minimise the risk of inhaling something nasty from the air circulation system, (yes I know airlines claim that the recirculated air is about the cleanest on Mother Earth, but I call bollax on that claim...)

Wearing a mask has not ruined my life - it has made it immeasurably better.  I have also stopped talking with rabbits, so I guess my mental health has also improved...

Frankly, I don't give a flying fick what people think of me for wearing a mask (TBH, not one person has ever made a negative comment or given me a dirty look).

During the pandemic, there was no more enthusiastic and loyal covid policy cheerleader than The Atlantic.

Something must have changed, as they recently published an article on the Masked Mental-Illness Mob.

The article reported that according to a recent PEW poll, around four percent (4%) of Americans still regularly mask up

That's 14 million people.

You can read the article here: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2025/04/covid-conscious/682252/

And it features a couple of testimonies from that still-masking bunch, who are stuck in a perpetual state of fear, anxiety, and obsessive compulsion.

It’s ruining their lives, their relationships, and what remains of their mental health.

Went to hospital last week to see my Urologist (3 monthly vists).

Very few nurses/admin ladies wearing masks... neither was my Urologist.

With Covid-19 doing the rounds again masks are a very good idea. Helps protect against the common cold and influenza infections.

They've been recommended by the illustrious Dr. Yoon as a defense against the current covid outbreak.

You probably mean the total fraud dr Yong Poovorawan.

The evil idiot that pushed for covid-vaccination of all Thai children 3 years and up.

I hope for him that I never encounter him in a dark alley...

The good doctor does say that vaccines may not be necessary as most people have built up immunity through infection or previous vaccination and they are much more expensive than the influenza vaccine (which he recommends). Instead, they can put the masks back on the protect themselves.

You don't wear a mask all the time .

If masks don't work , why to surgeons wear them while operating ?

I wear better masks than them.

5 years futher , and I haven't had covid .

Or maybe that 1 week I had the flu.

No covids shots either.

No sticks up my nose or pcr tests , but they don't prove anything.

Of course Fauci was against masking , covid had to spread,

so that he could roll out the shots.

Really 😂 you didn't know that surgeon can get a splash of blood in his face? 🙃 That's why people wear masks LOL not against viruses 555

And other surprise - if you weren't doing this, you would also be healthier. And no covid as well.. that's why we laugh at such ppl, not because we are sick and they aren't  🤣😂😆

You're missing the point.

Masks protect and it goes both ways.

Love seeing these people alone in their cars wearing masks and even riding they cycles with a mask.  If you see this in the US, they don't have to tell you how they voted.  We already know.

Better than resorting to an AK47 as done in the US to commit mass murder.

Many people were brainwashed by the COVID propaganda. And in the USA and for some people, wearing a mask was a political statement. You instantly became a member of an"elite" group of know-it-alls. And you can guess who they voted for.

I was there during COVID, but fortunately, no one could make me do anything. I wasn't working. I kept a mask in my car for my daily trip to the grocery store, not because I was paranoid, but to make the grocery store people happy. I could put on a mask for the 10 minutes I spent in the store. Many restaurants were closed for a time. Even the guy who cut my hair closed his shop. But later in 2020, things began to open back up. Many restaurants opened. To enter those places, you needed a mask, at least until you sat down to eat.  It was hilarious. As if the virus magically disappeared as soon as you were seated.

Here's a picture inside a Twin Peaks restaurant, taken in September of 2020.  See the Blue taped X's on some of the tables?  That was their solution to the virus problem.  Every other table had a big X on it. You couldn't sit there.  I think you sit at the bar, though.  They also did away with menus you could hold in your hand. Instead, they had QR codes on the table, and you were supposed to pull up the menu from the code and look at it on your phone.

Over-use of masks is dangerous for your health! Your immune system will suffer and microbes can grow and be a reason for respiratory infections. At least change your mask frequently!!
