Popular Post snoop1130 Posted yesterday at 09:30 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 09:30 AM Picture courtesy of Amarin TV A 32-year-old Australian thrill-seeker, Mr Daherwalid, found himself in legal trouble after a viral video captured his dangerous motorcycle antics on Phuket's Witsanu Road, inciting local outrage. The footage, widely circulated on social media, depicted the tourist performing hazardous wheelies and weaving through traffic on a Honda Click 160, causing significant risk to others on the busy road late Sunday night. The brazen display prompted furious calls from the community for action. "He was having the time of his life, but no one else was," lamented a local witness, emphasising the menace and disrespect the tourist's actions posed. Authorities from the Chalong Police Station swiftly responded, successfully apprehending Mr Daherwalid following a concerted effort by patrol and traffic units. The motorcycle's owner was also summoned to aid the investigation. Consequently, the motorcycle has been impounded, and Mr Daherwalid is now facing serious charges for reckless driving that endangered public safety. The incident underscores Thailand's firm stance that foreign tourists are subject to the nation's laws. "Tourists are welcome but stunts like these are not," stated a Chalong Police officer. This arrest serves as a potent reminder of the legal responsibilities international visitors bear while traversing Thailand's roads, reinforcing the commitment to maintaining safe and respectful environments for all. Popular Post jcmj Posted 10 hours ago Popular Post Posted 10 hours ago Probably only a slap on the wrist and a small fine. If they really want people to stop doing this give a hefty fine and a boot out of the country. For Thais they can get a small stint in jail alongside the fine. Everyone needs to follow the laws, but don’t because there’s very little chance of being caught and punished harshly. Cops do your jobs. 3 1 1

Thai guys are riding like maniacs on their bikes nearly everytime I go out anywhere in Thailand. You will not hear about it on this site though, unless you're European, then if you fart loudly in public you could have an article about you. For other groups especially Thais you have to remove the organs from a ladyboy or drag your girlfriend from your motorbike to get some attention. I wonder who sponsors this site to have this narrative. 1 2 1
