No,  local gmo mangoes, as I call them. No taste, just watery. The yummy mangoes are exported to China, fetching more than 100 baht a kilo . Chiang Mai 's farms are known for inferior products. Try the strawberries and you know what im talking about. No taste.

Here near Phimai, you can't give them away, there are so many here at the moment. We have 5 or 6 different kinds growing on our place, and they all taste a bit different. We like the Oakrong (อกร่อง) the best, sweet with a touch of sour.
