I've been checking the schedule for the "live channel" and it seems it is the same as channel 602 was on True, with pundits, goal rush, etc.

Yes, 'Max 1' 👍

I've managed to locate this channel (called "Monomax 1" in my case) by selecting the Monomax app and then "Live" in the panel on the left-hand side. But where can I find its schedule?

The schedule is not on Monomax, it's on a site called TV Passport.  I can't get the link to display correctly, just Google "TV Passport" and select "TV Schedule for Premier League TV".

No joy, I'm afraid. Googling "TV Passport" doesn't, in my case, produce anything resembling "TV Schedule for Premier League TV" to click on, unfortunately. Presumably matchday punditry will still commence 1 hour before kick-off, in which case no problem there. However the other shows of particular interest to me are "Team Talks" shown on Saturday and the 90-minute round-up programme usually hosted by Mark Pougach on Mondays. Will just have to take pot luck on their timings, I suppose.

Thanks for your post. I'm a TVisions football follower and payer of 2600Bht per month membership. You can guess how unhappy i am with this change, i wonder how much TV are going to reduce my monthly bill by ?

yeah.  the danger of any type of subscription these days.  They can and often change things, usually in agreement with the fine print on the contracts unfortunately

Who in his right mind pays 2600 a month for what Truevisions had to offer, even including the EPL.

And I guess you now can deduct the price for the football package from that total, and pay that sum to AIS, so you lose little to nothing.

Muggins here used to. For Platinum cable package and the internet. Was a good deal back in 2016(!). Streaming wasn't reliable back then and my kids were young so it was great for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and all the other rubbish.

Then you just keep it up because it is easy, all the sports are there, it works, even though you know it is a bit expensive - not compared to Sky in the UK though - and you get every single game live.

Of course now I have cancelled it and paid for Monomax and BeIn I couldn't be happier and the value is amazing. But I am sure I wasn't the only long term subscriber to keep going - I definitely didn't want to scrabble around for dodgy streams every week like my family in the UK have to.

Well True have reduced my monthly bill to 2100bht because of the EPL loss. I have TWO boxes one in my lounge and one in my bedroom which operate independently of each other, very handy as i can watch the footie/other sport/channels and wifey can watch her Thai soaps. True in all fairness did provide a comprehensive sport package and i still have golf, F1 which i'm a fan of. I also watch many other channels so it meets my TV requirements along with HD Prime.

I'm considering signing up to Monomax but i'm waiting to see how good it is, no doubt you guys will be reporting on its effectiveness, the overall cost to me is NOT important, its the best overall service i'm looking for.

Rather than paying 2999 baht annually or 299 baht monthly, go the AIS route, at 1999 baht and 199 baht respectively. That way you won't need to use your bank card either, as you can just top up the AIS SIM.

Method: Obtain and register an AIS Prepaid SIM: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/pdp-i1487422386.html

Top up with required amount; 2000 baht for annual. Best to do it in increments of 200 baht at a time, in order to push the validity date out to eleven months in the future.

Tap in *899*1# on the mobile phone, then to hit the Call key.

If you prefer to do it monthly, in order to evaluate the service, then just top up 200 baht( 10 x 20 baht to extend validity).  Tap in *899*9# on the mobile phone, then to hit the Call key.

Alternatively, you can top up the AIS SIM and chose to click through(or copy and paste) the below links via your mobile phone:

https://www.ais.th/consumers/entertainment/sport/premier-league

https://m.ais.co.th/PLmweb (Monthly)

https://m.ais.co.th/PLyweb (Annual)

This is to get AIS play on your phone, right? You then have to cast to your TV.

FYI there is an EPL match today on Thai free TV channel 29 (Mono) at 21:00.

This could be every Sat (maybe Sunday too), but the 'big' games won't be shown as they're usually the late match on Sunday.

@garygooner If you have an Android TV/Amazon Fire Stick/Android Box with Widevine Level 1/AIS Playbox...you can view directly via the TV. The only caveat is one device at a time.

I guess once you subscribe they send you sign in details for the website and/or application

@Pumpuynarak You only need to put the AIS SIM in the phone for as long as it takes to subscribe to the service. Then you can just take it out and replace it with your usual DTAC SIM. If you have a mobile phone that takes e-SIM, take the 50 baht SIM that you purchased via Lazada to the AIS service centre to register it and request they convert it to e-SIM.  Then you can more easily swap for DTAC to AIS if and when, without needing to physically remove either.

If you try to obtain a SIM or eSIM from the service centre, they may try to insist that you buy an unwanted package. So grab the SIM via Lazada and then take it to the service centre for registration and topping up. Get them to do it in 10% increments, in order to extend the validity date.

Wondering what the catch-up on Monomax (android tv app) is like ?

 - easy to find and use, without revealing the football scores ?

 -  8pm UK match - when is it available to watch the next day ?

Very easy to find. If I look now it has all the upcoming games listed (EFL, Premier league), below that it has all the full matches that are available for play back, including Liverpool v Bournemouth from last night, all the Carabao Cup 1st round matches, even all the pre-season friendlies - basically every game they have ever shown live is available for replay. It is very very impressive. Scores are not revealed, the program starts as the teams are coming out on to the pitch.

There's also an 11 minute highlight package of the Liverpool match, so assume will be available for all premier league matches in future.

So re-runs are easy to find and will all be available, including highlights of premier league matches. I don't know how quickly the re-runs appear after the match has ended but will find out tonight. (Edit: it says on the screen, highlights appeared three hours ago, the full match appeared four hours ago, so the game finished around 4am and the re-run was here at 9am, highlights at 10am. Pretty good!).

The only negative is it seems the re-runs and highlights are only in Thai. Even True's highlight packages were only in Thai so must be a rights thing.

In short, it has absolutely everything. The value for money is unreal.

Mono Max English football coverage is amazing.

Such a shame, when streaming the games not live, English commentary is not available. After all many games are in the middle of Thai night time.

If it's a rights issue as someone suggested ... buy the freaking rights and charge us more.

I would be happy to pay much more.

Rant over.

I just turn the volume down.

It is too strange to have no crowd noise. I can tune out the Thai, to a certain extent. 😄

Try www.fullreplays.com it's not totally reliable but replays of full games (and highlights) come on quite quickly and usually have English language option.

Yeah, some nasty full page pop ups from there and then "video not available".

Sorry, but that is not true. True's 30 min highlight shows were in English 100%.

I have been trying to register with Monomax for a couple of hours now.

It keeps telling me that they have sent me a OTP , I have checked , double checked everything , but Monomax doesn't seem able enough to send an e mail."
So I don't know if there will be problems with being able to stream.

Ok, I stand corrected, but was that on a scheduled broadcast highlights show? I remember the next morning I would always get highlights of the games on YouTube from True and they were always in Thai. S on demand, not a scheduled program.

But if you had them in English on demand then I am wrong.
