Michelle Obama Embraces Therapy and a New Chapter in Life

Her race and sex is irrelevant to the points I was making, so why mention it?

She must be a good listener. I mean, 'dem ears... 😆

Pathetic comment

Jonny sets about an intelligent and articulate woman with derogatory remarks aimed at her and her husband, his remarks on the latter being libelous slurs.

Nothing much changes.

Most likely a trait learned from observing the Trump haters.

You forgot to mention she is black and a female and more successful than most.

That bothers a lot of people.

I think that bothers anyone.

Exactly.

Same with the 3 or 4 thumbs down responses to my post.

Also, any mention of Mrs. Obama brings out the more reptilian intellects with their comments.

A rich privilaged person crying about her struggles is an easy target.

Harvard law grads, which Michelle Obama is, have a median annual salary of $233,589.

https://nationaljurist.com/national-jurist/insight/top-schools-for-salary-versus-debt/#:~:text=Harvard Law School has the,-income ratio of 39.9%.

So with or without Barack she would have been financially comfortable.

As far as being an entitled brat, Michelle Obama did not come from a privileged background. Her family was not wealthy at all.

Something about her triggers you, what could it be?

How dare anyone poke fun at a rich privileged whining individual.

I occasionally check my profile, the list of profile visitors gives an indication of who might be stalking me.

Your comment prompted me to do so again.. Oh and there you are, with a couple of my other regular visitors.

False information. Get over yourself.  You’re not that important.

My thumb or fingers have accidentally bumped a members name while typing or scrolling on my phone many times.  I’m sure others have experienced the same.

It shows up on the receivers screen as their profile is being looked at.

No one here is that important.

No matter what Trump says. money cannot buy everything.

Whilst I am not an empty nest Mum, I am an empty nest Dad for the second time and there is still  hole in my heart where both of my sons were. She certainly has my sympathy, and if she thinks that she needs therapy to help her get over it, then go for it.

Ignore the chattering class whiners, and do what you think is best for you.

You can always adopt.

Many adult TG would be willing.

It's pathetic that some here have denigrated Michelle Obama's intelligence.

Objectively you cannot hold a candle to her.

She graduated cum laude from Princeton University.

She graduated from Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctor degree.

Just speaking from admission statistics (Princeton acceptance rate of 4%, Harvard Law 9.5%), an application to those schools from her detractors here would have been thrown in the trash unread by the student intern and never considered for admission.

To be clear,  you could never even get to the place where her accomplishments began.

Second, the obvious envy over her wealth.

A great deal of her personal wealth came from her memoir “Becoming" which sold 14 million copies worldwide.

Nothing stopping you.

Call up Crown publishers and see what they think about publishing a memoir concerning your thoughts, experiences and achievements.

I'm sure you would get a fair hearing, which, to be fair, would be no hearing at all.

Pathetic envy and jealousy from people who have never done anything of note trying to attack a person who has significant accomplishments.

Reminds me of Jasmine Crockett.

Rich family, private schools and talks like she’s from the hood.  Gimme a holla!

Good one.

Always with the razor sharp wit, a regular Oscar Wilde.

It seems to me from this thread, that most of the whiners and moaners are Trump supporters and democrat haters.

It's easy to hate Democrats, but if Michelle Obama was a republicans you people would be trashing her.   It's pathetic to hear a privilege person whining like this.    She should hang out with Prince Harry and they can exchange stories.

14 million copies of "Becoming" sold they said?

Please, get real! That was (me think) one of the oldest trick to grease or bribe officials.
Trump bought his own portrait from himself

Michel "sold" 14 million copies of ghost written most boring book ever.

Sure! 14 million-shmollions

Why would we even consider adopting?

JD Vance graduated from Yale Law School.   Does that count?

I do not know if Michelle is just having a bad hair day or what but the accompanying photo of her on the first post is frightening. She has not aged well and maybe the reason that there seems to be some friction in Obama's marriage. I am so glad there is a real woman in the White House again.

melania.jpg

In the first 100+ days of the Trump presidency Melania has spent less than 2 weeks at the Whitehouse... :coffee1:

She studied studied sociology and African-American studies at Princeton University., not exactly nuclear science, let's not go overboard.

She did make it through law school and joined Sidley & Austin, which is hard,, but she could not hack it at Sidley Austin and quickly quit to become a  "community advisor".

Albert Einstein she ain't. Nor a common partner at a top law firm, not good enough.

Read more. I don't buy your negative comments. What's behind your negatives: race?

She's also very successfully given many invited law lectures at several highly acclaimed universities.

As a multi millionaire she is so oppressed and life has been so unfair to her, sob sob. She does not need therapy after getting shot of those two brats, she needs a celebratory drink.

Not bitter and twisted then?!

She doesn’t look good.  Is she transitioning back?

That's quite frightening paradox: after 40. estrogen begins to drop and that perfect balance defining man and woman shutters. Most popular way to fight for "continued femininity" is HRT which might bring unexpected results - from the cancer to the title picture.

While she remained quiet I'd always assumed she was quite intelligent but from the clips I've seen of the drivel on her podcast, it makes her look like a spoiled, entitled airhead.

It's quite interesting that her and word-salad Harris both get so much credit due to being Black and female, yet seem to not really be all that great upon close inspection.  It kind of makes you wonder what kind of role model these women really are to young Black women.

Purely out of curiosity, have you ever written your life story (or had it ghost written for you)?

If you have, how many copies did you sell?

quote from your post, 14 million-shmollions, or none?
