UK passport checking

Where can I go to get my UK passport checked? I know there is no British Embassy anymore. My problem is that I wrote a name & phone number on the very last page, THE LAST PAGE.

That's a very negative response. I wanted a positive response: directing me to the replacement for the Embassy  where I could show it to them, and they WITH AUTHORITY, could confirm or otherwise if I have problem or not.

What is the place in Bangkok where I would go if I wanted a new passport?

No problem.  I use my Passport as a note book often, got stuff written all over it.  Still takes me thru the airports.

 

The issue is whether or not it will be accepted which is up to the person deciding acceptance or rejection.  Not up to the issuer.

There is a guy on Soi 67 Sukhumvit, small copy shop with blue sign left side.  He can get you a new one.

There is no one, anywhere who is going to check your passport and tell you if it is ok, if you have written in it then it  can be considered defaced, get a  replacement follow the link below, you will have to go to the VFS office in Bangkok or Chang Mai in person to hand over the forms passport

Shouting (captials) is not going to give you the answer you want.

 

IF you wanted a new passport from Thailand, you would have to go to VFS - they only process the submission of documents, they do no such thing as verification. 

 

If you have real concerns you 'could' contact the British Consulate and explain your situation to them - its possible they can check it.

 

.... But, your question is 'extremely vague' - what exactly do you want to check about your passport ? 

 

Do you need some verification that your writing on the last page has not voided the document ?

 

And.. by the last page, do you mean the 'Emergencies' page where you list your ICE Contacts (in case of emergency), or did you write on a different page ?

I have done the same ,,,it's for next of kin ,you can fill it in

twice with 2 different names ... is that you are referring to ?

If you're concerned whether you spelled your name correctly you can check the main page of your passport.

 

It's the first page. Check for your first name, it should be under there.

  The place that you are looking for doesn't exist .

There is no place in the whole World who can tell you whether your PP will be acceptable to numerous immigration officers around the World .  

   Only the Immigration officer on duty will decide whether your passport is valid or not

Not a very helpful reply even though it may be correct.  I have received some better answers which I'm going to try.

No, you fill in Emergency addresses  next to the inside of the back cover, which is blank, in my last two Passports.

I just replaced a washing machine damaged UK Passport using Thai Visa Express.

Passport was Bht 6000, their service was Bht 6000. Saved me two trips to Bkk and back.

New one arrived exactly four weeks later, couriered to my home.
