I transfer regular to the same person via wise to KBANK for 2 years without any issues,  but for some reason,  On Monday,   I did a transfer of 2,000 baht

and the recipient has not yet received the money.

I have contacted wise who have asked for the recipients Bank statement,  which I have sent to wise who will investigate.

Wise app says transfer was completed successfully on the Monday.

Anyone else have a similar issue with money not received when making a transfer with WISE ?

Similar issue. Before it was ok and fast when Kasikorn showed as partner. Now  still waiting 4 days through Tranglo partner. Sum a few thousands bahts.

After all the the great things I read here about Wise I decided to sign up. Immediately a transfer of $241.00  from my Citi account was sent to somewhere without my knowledge. Nobody could tell me where it went or why. I had to get a new credit card and delete my Wise account as a result.

This is a unique story.

Never read anything similar.

And as I understand it's gone from your cc.

And the cc issuing bank can't tell where it went and get it back?

Your device (phone, tablet...) is not compromised by chance?

I signed up, but won't use it.   I do the old-fashioned wire transfer.  If it's a weekly or monthly thing, maybe I'll have to find a better way.  it seems like Wise is not that way.

Usually it's fine, has been for years, probably worth avoiding for a month or two while they sort out the issues

Issues with Wise transfers currently, I thought it was just Bangkok Bank but it sounds like other banks too. I suspect it's to do with Tranglo who replaced Kasikorn as an intermediary

I just sent about 900USD using Wise to KBank, it took 4-5 seconds.

Only small but the last few days even small amounts have taken a couple of days to get through.

I've only heard of issues with small transfers, a few thousand, maybe a different process for those

That's the same with me and Bangkok Bank. It was really fast for the past couple of months, but now takes a day.

A friend just transferred his monthly pension and received a message to say Monday.

I transferred £50 as a test and it took 6 seconds.

We both transferred from balances held with WISE.

Tranglo certainly seem to be popping up a lot but maybe that's because there's a lot of issues at the moment.  Tranglo have been a partner for over a year without much mention.

I've posted in another thread that a potential reason is the recent imposition of ISO 20022 messaging format on transactions which has ruled a lot of banks out of the process altogether and I suspect is causing some teething problems with others.

Which Thai banks?  I would bet yours wasn't to Bangkok Bank.

True, it was Kasikorn ........my friend's was BKK.

From what I've read here and elsewhere, Bangkok Bank seems now to be always next day at 2:00pm if the transfer is initiated after about 10:00 or 11:00am Thai time (up to £25,000) and getting the "International Transfer" annotation all the time now.  Don't know if that change is here to stay but I suspect so.

No issues with recent transfers from Singapore, to Kasikorn and Siam Commercial. Just checking the transaction receipts I note the last 4 transfers have used Tranglo as the partner bank, didn't notice any difference, all arrived in seconds, largest was THB100k, smallest THB4k.

Other friends have often referenced the 2 pm transaction time so I also suspect that you are right.

This was my experience transferring to Bangkok bank earlier this week. Also there was no drop down menu for the reason for the transfer. It just stated personal expenses with no option to change it.
