So this proves that the bio metric scans do actually work!

In this case yes... but I wouldn't go as far as to say all.

So maybe that means the person behind that passport might be in trouble!!! Look, your Honor (honour, who knows in Britspeak), I couldn't have done anything; he left Bangkok.

10,000 CCTV cameras, zillion videos, whatever....  oh, ah....well, in the movies it works!!!

20's....  kids this age have crazy imaginations.    and very little common sense.

Embarrassing for the Mossad, they regularly use different passports, this time perhaps thinking the Thai fingerprint system is useless (as most believe).

I heard the biometric software at BKK was supplied by an Israeli company. If he was a Mossad agent then a bit of an oversight to not incorporate an 'ignore switch' when a Mossad fake passport is scanned.

Why would he be a Mossad agent ?

Would you think that an American citizen with a false passport would be a CIA agent or a British guy with a   false passport be an M.I 5 agent ?

So why was he using the fake passport? Obviously it would have been detected on arrival in Israel, so the scam wouldn't have gotten very far 🤔

Could have just overstayed in Thailand , used a friends passport to leave Thailand and then enter Israel on his Israel passport ?

Dont worry the Israeli embassy will get him out of there, EL AL will not leave without him, on that plane is 8 IDF special forces guys, and armed,

How did he get into the country if his passport was fake?

Article didn't say he used the same exiting passport to get into Thailand.  Maybe he bought the other Israeli passport while in Thailand or already had it.

Don’t discount Mosad agent.

Nah. Then he'd have had a real Israeli PP in a false name not a forgery or tweaked one matching someone else.

Mossad smuggled him into Thailand on a secret mission to arrest one of the last known former members of the Nazi party, Malcolm Baader .

A failed mission, just like when Mossad tried to arrest Josef Mengele

Why would any intelligence service issue fake PPs instead of pucker gen originals with the bios and false name of the holder/agent. Doesn't make sense.

They have access to the real things. No need to risk fakery.

Why would anyone do that?  I'd expect that passport control in Israel would be absolutely certain to pick up a fake document, so he wouldn't be able to enter the country,

Does that suggest that whatever he had in mind only required that he successfully board the aircraft?

Perhaps check his luggage very, very, very carefully.

   What are you saying ?

He might have intended to blow the airplane up with a bomb ?

BTW, Israel would have allowed him to enter Israel and he may have intended to enter Israel on his own Passport)
