For a logical brain, you understand this doesn't sound realistic, and unfortunately, to many people wasting their time on this planet because they think there is a higher meaning, instead of doing what we where born to do. 

 

Work hard for a sustainable life on this planet, but somehow when we get to comfortable l, we forget our main reason for being alive and starts getting bored. 

 

And many searching for the wrong purposes and see truth where there is no truths

We are here to believe, and live as good a life as possible, so we can enjoy a better world without the crapola that happens here. If we choose to have a partner, we're supposed to treat them well, and if children are born, the same way. 

 

We're also supposed to get along with each other, but free will has some taking advantage of others or doing harm to them, for greed, anger, jealousy or insanity, which are all human traits. 

 

Living a decent life isn't wasting time, as there is no better way to spend time while here. What else are we born to do? Just to exist and get by by working hard, then to die and have nothing? 

 

I think there's a reason we were created, and that's to see what we do with the life we're given. I can't fully understand why some enjoy life and some don't. why there are mosquitoes, snakes and other things that kill, that some are allowed to hurt others and seemingly get away with it, that some children die of cancer at 3, but again, we can't compare 100 years or a day to forever.

Free will is just excuses, and living a comfortable life, is a very vague description for how most Western lives.

 

I will not go in to environment, pollution and climate discussion, but in a higher meaning about life, you can't get around it, because we have broken every natural law there is to create an short lived illusion of what a comfortable and good morally mortally life is about.

 

Yes we live longer, and more healthier than our ancestors who lived shorter with more plagues and more suffering.

 

Purpose of life will come back to survival mode when needed, and everything that matters will be to survive another day, week, season

We create meaning by our life choices, values and actions.

 

Some people think the perpetuation of their genes gives their own life meaning.

 

Others think a being who cannot be seen , felt or heard gives their life a purpose.

That leaves no hope for a better life in a place without pain or heartache. That's why we believe, because this world, although it does have some good things, has a lot more things that go wrong. Just to live for today leaves no hope for tomorrow, and for some, today is nothing but pain. Free will has some destroying what we need most, as this is the only earth we have, but human nature has some doing anything for profit so they can enjoy things they like, no matter the damage it does to others around them or even their own children.

Everyone has their own afterlife, nothing to do with anyone else. Now you can do whatever you want, and believe whatever you want. All choices have consequences.

I have a conscience, so no, I can't do what I want, and I have a family with their limits of what I can do, and also work and live in a society where there is a moral ground to cope with for not being doomed to be a outcast.

 

Many Outcasts often find and joins their tribes, but most people who are outcasts, still have a moral, but do not fit anywhere.
