just because you are in thailand, doesn't mean you absolutely need to get hitched up with a thai girl. but if you're already married, doesnt apply to you.

That's the good thing about Thailand, you really do mot spend much to be good and manage to save some every month, as long you do have some income above 40k -60k taking care of a family. All depending on you own or rent of course. 

I would sell out here and buy a place in the US if I went back. 

 

I already pay taxes in the US, and since I retired, it's almost nothing.
