Is there a best place in Bangkok to transfer money "OUT" of Thailand?

Several Thai banks offer that function on their smartphone banking apps.  I think SCB and BBL offer it.  You'll find the rate on their website listed as TT selling (US,UK,EU etc) rate.

Do you have the proper paper work to say that you brought it into Thailand ?

 

Or has that law all changed now.

Some Thai banks do ask the purpose and even sometimes documentation to support your reason.  I would just say it's for investment purposes.  Last year, my friend used BBL for many transfers back to US but never had so show the funds were previously brought in.  One time he said it was to pay for family to visit and the bank wanted documentation of travel.  He subsequently used a different purpose (I don't know which) to keep it simple.

A few years back I used BB & Krungsri Bank to send back, they did asked reason, just said I was leaving for home.

But now are days Thai banks are getting crazy with foreigners and local alike want you to take a photo blah blah, Krungsri even wants you to come in with your passport to take that said photo.
