It is pretty obvious why she speaks out now against Trump. The tariffs have caused a significant loss in profits in Walmarts across the country. If you recall, Trump ordered Walmart to eat some of the cost increases from tariffs. Walmart as well as this lady is pissed they will lose some of their millions in profits.

Your last statement I can agree with. The part about la police i cant. The national guard and others only started with Trump making that call no ?  Im not American so I dont know how that all goes. If im wrong call me out on that.

 

The LA police force is severely understaffed right now. I watched a video the other day of either the current or former chief saying that. I can't provide a link so you'll just have to take my word for that. If thats possible in this polarized atmosphere.

Im not pessimistic but rather realistic. 

 

I think America and American will be changed in 3 years, there is no retreat from what's happening now. At least back to how it was. The great separation between left and right is to great for that happening.

China is leading with brothers in arms as Russia and NKorea. 

We - the smaller remaining part - would be advised to go combined into the future. BRICS are much more powerful than a small America or a not so small Europe. And now someone will break this alliance.

Not unreasonable to protest this parade event - given Trumps recent actions - unusual type of even for US held on Trump's birthday. Not everyone things the same as mainly white middle aged and elderly right wing leaning guys on this site. That's a good thing.
