Been going downhill for 40 years. Destroyed? No. Chances of bringing back manufacturing to any significant extent? Maybe 10%?

When the world objective look at Americans changes drastically, not only among your enemies, but also among your partners, it is maybe not recoverable.

Yes some kiss his ass for the moment, but thats for now.

Every day allies lose thrust in something once was. Im not sure we want to be part of the downfall.

Of course there is a new election in 3 years, we will see

It is pretty obvious why she speaks out now against Trump. The tariffs have caused a significant loss in profits in Walmarts across the country. If you recall, Trump ordered Walmart to eat some of the cost increases from tariffs. Walmart as well as this lady is pissed they will lose some of their millions in profits.

Billions. The Walton family is a prime example of what's wrong with America.

Google ai: has the usa been destroyed for ages?

“In conclusion, while the USA faces serious challenges and criticisms, it is not "destroyed." The country is still a major global power with a strong economy and significant influence. The perception of decline is likely fueled by the increasing polarization and social problems within the country, but these are not indicative of a complete collapse”!

Communist / Socialist / Terrorist havent won the day .

Forget AI. Use you brain. There isn't a 'perception' of decline in the West, it's happened and still happening. How far it's being taken down? I don't know. I don't hang with the elite or their social engineers, but make no mistake you don't promote feminism, LGBT, Sub Saharans, veganism, mental and physical illnesses, and other forms of weakness and degeneracy if you want a society to grow.

The video showed some people protesting peacefully and others going too far - and those latter ones should be held to account. A key issue - linked to this parade - is Trump's actions in this - trampling on states rights - something held dear by the right and possibly illegal and apparently costing 134 million of taxpayers money - when the protests clearly could be handled by Californian police and National Guard and others.

This march is symbolic to some of that potential overreach. Trump said LA would have burned to the ground without his involvement - he said it multiple times - can we agree that is totally ridiculous. Hope so.

Your last statement I can agree with. The part about la police i cant. The national guard and others only started with Trump making that call no ?  Im not American so I dont know how that all goes. If im wrong call me out on that.

The LA police force is severely understaffed right now. I watched a video the other day of either the current or former chief saying that. I can't provide a link so you'll just have to take my word for that. If thats possible in this polarized atmosphere.

No Kings.

That'll be even better than Amazon's Black Friday sales.  Even Amazon doesn't have 100% discounts.  The lefties will.

Long time to go.

Maybe we won't be still alive.

There are some wonderful pop songs about it:

In the year 2(5)025 or

Even of destruction ( for me the best)

Let's hope so. The recent events in LA are a disgrace. Protest peacefully make your voice and point heard and go home.

Years ago they/ them had a protest in Chicago during the Summer of Love riots, it was to protest Columbus!

They were all their all the “freaks of nature”!   They / them with their Blm banners and Antifa black  umbrellas.

That thry used as weapons.
The mayor at the time Lightfoot was forced to take down the statue of Columbus .

Im not pessimistic but rather realistic.

I think America and American will be changed in 3 years, there is no retreat from what's happening now. At least back to how it was. The great separation between left and right is to great for that happening.

And of course, everything is not about Usa, it is about everyone's right and fight for the same resources we all need and want. As usual, it is all about economic power and balance between the powers, and which great powers teaming up for the next decades.

The are using various sheriffs & police from other counties in conjunction.

California's Mutual Aid System: The LAPD is utilizing California's established mutual aid system, which allows neighboring law enforcement agencies to assist one another during emergencies. This includes officers from other California jurisdictions and the California Highway Patrol (CHP)

Agreed. But I'm missing that US will acknowledge that the world has changed. US isn't the hegemon anymore.

China is leading with brothers in arms as Russia and NKorea.

We - the smaller remaining part - would be advised to go combined into the future. BRICS are much more powerful than a small America or a not so small Europe. And now someone will break this alliance.

How stupid.

I hope that American will be fed up with all these govt criminals and get a new President.

The present one is far too old, far too senile and far too stupid.

Agree

Hopefully they will be peaceful, and hopefully millions upon millions of Americans will turn out and show their total disapproval of the goon, who is leading the country down a very wrong path.

What is the difference between the Walton family earning billions legitimately through a large chain of stores, and our president earning billions illegitimately through grifting and the corrupt use of the presidency?

Are you just against very rich people in general and if so why doesn't that apply to your political master and most of his Cabinet members?

It applies to them all Mike. Please dont become like the others. You seem smarter than they are. I do not support Trump and im sure you have read me state that on many occasions.

I said things about trump years before all this started. I grew tired of it a long time ago.i have also said on many occasions I dislike them all.

No. The American police were the first in the democratised world to become militarized. More Americans in prison per capita than any other country - many for petty offenses. The US is basically a police state and has been for 20-30 years now. It's true police in other western countries have followed that path unfortunately. But they haven't privatized their prisons to make it profitable to jail as many as possible.

If the US has been a police state for 20 to 30 years now that means both sides dem and repub are guilty.......... right?  Of course my statement is right.

Something Ihave made abundantly clear many times on this forum.

Does it matter if the US was first? My statement remains true.

Only you have mentioned anything about prisons. Thats an entirely different subject. This is about the police and their presentation.
