That's totally false, multiple studies have shown that illegal immigrants are net positive to the US economy. Most of them pay taxes and contribute to Social Security and they'll never see any return or any benefits on that money.

 

Conservatives don't like to hear that, and they don't like to discuss it but it's absolutely true. And it's the same reason why conservatives, and especially the goon himself, very rarely ever like to debate immigration reform.

This article makes some great points.  The riots have been mostly in downtown LA and in Paramount.   I am currenlty watching the Dodgers game which is at the stadium which is located in Chavez Ravine (not too from downtown) and things look calm excpet for the Dodgers losing badly. However the 110 and 101 Freeways run through the heart of downtown and any disturbance will affect the flow of traffic on both.  The CHP cars that were burned were on the 101.  Saturday will be a great test because "The No Kings" protests are scheduled to held in 4 different locations spread throughout LA.  One is even scheduled at Torrance City Hall (my hometown).  Torrance is 20 miles south of downtown LA.  Let's see what transpires on Saturday June 14th.

It is typical for people that do the kind of things you describe to justify doing it by claiming "everyone does it".

 

Everyone does not do it. I have never (that I remember) intentionally taken an extra half hour for lunch that was not approved.

 

And yes, I have broken traffic laws, but I do not do it regularly, and when I have been stopped, I am polite, I accept the ticket, and I pay the fine, I do not run away and or try to pretend I am being persecuted.
