yeahhh, saw it and couldn't believe it really happened , the Canadian PM has a big pair of cojones something Trump doesn't, to help the maga shut up, here is the link

Moment Canadian PM Carney cuts off Trump at G7 press conference

Having now see the video, I think it’s quite wrong to say that Trump was brutally shut down.

Trump was rambling on and finished his point. Media persons were shouting out more questions(hard to hear about what because they were all shouting over each other), Carney turned to Trump and seemingly said to him that he would like to step in and Trump nodded his agreement. Carney then spoke and said he was going to exercise his chairman’s role and move on.

Nothing brutal about it, politely done with the involvement of Trump. Which is exactly what I would expect from Carney, the man is a consummate experienced professional.

The G7 should be named the G1 and the irrelevant little 6.

Or the G6 and the self proclaimed elephant that only wants to play with itself.

The rest of the world might as well just move on and let the USA do whatever it wants to do.

No. Still here. The only thing brutal is your lack of sophistication.

While I do agree about Carney being quite professional and polished, it did appear that Trump was willing to whine on and on and on, so in a sense Carney did shut him down, which was a beautiful thing to witness.

Well, Trump would definitely whine on and on. But my eyes say he had finished that particular bout of whining, but the questions being shouted would under normal circumstances have resulted in another bout.

So after checking with Trump, Carney moved in and shut down the reporters questions, as a result of which Trump was stopped in his tracks.

Certainly Carney stopped the whole episode being about Trump and an even longer episode of whining, but he did not actually interrupt or shut down Trump himself. He redirected the whole interaction after Trump finished speaking (whining)
