My friend's wife woke up at night because someone touched her and whispered into her ear.

No, it was not her husband since they sleep in separate rooms, because he is snoring and she is farting (a bit fat actually).

Next morning she was confused. She could remember the touch and the word. "Come".

She decided to invite the top monks of 3 temples to come and stay overnight.

Also she ordered a handmade naga statue - 2m high - which is now protecting the house.

It was a big party and since then (5 months) she sleeps very well.

All attendants believed in this story.

Would you?

And....do you believe in ghosts or your Partner?

No ghosts. She has a mental illness, the kind that is starved for attention using delusional story telling.

She said she doesn't have health issues

That's your saying, others see it different

No, it's common sense. An inanimate object has no powers. Of course others believe in all sorts of things.

Not quite right.

There is physical power and psychological power.

????😳

There are many variations on the rules, saying no, saying allowed but not in same room, saying another man should be present etc..............

4: It is mentioned in the Vinaya rules that a monk is not allowed to reside under the same roof with a woman.

No, there is fear of being hurt physically and fear of things that can't hurt you unless you let them. No power  but a person's own weakness from being taught a lie.

IME most Thais believe in ghosts . The GF has a guest house and has to hang around in the evening when it`s dark . She told me she has seen a ghost ( Winyarn )  of someone who used to live in the vacinity . I`ve not seen anything myself and am sceptical on the subject . The human brain can generate all kinds of false images and sensations which have no basis in reality . As regards spirits being able to move things about , as one Buddhist monk said - ghosts don`t eat food , so where do they get the energy from to do these things ?

Ghost tales in Thailand ....

Are there a lot of accidents at this intersection?

Ratchaprasong Intersection:
A busy intersection, it's also the site of Prince Chudadhuj Dharadilok's palace and several Hindu shrines, with a reputation for being cursed or haunted.

Doi Suthep National Park:
Visitors to this park in Chiang Mai have reported seeing a female hitchhiker in white at various points along the road.

Wat Samian Nari:
This temple is the subject of a local legend where taxi drivers are flagged down by two beautiful women in black, who disappear after getting into the taxi.

Suvarnabhumi Airport:
There are stories circulating that Suvarnabhumi Airport is haunted, with reports of spirits causing issues with operations, and authorities even building special accommodation for the spirits.
