The US  will now need to keep lots of assets in the area to deal with possible retaliations. So with America now distracted in the Middle East, maybe China will see this as an opportunity to invade Tawain.

China is facing economic turmoil and a rebelling population.  The recent droughts and now devastating floods are crippling the food supply.  Because of the situation in the Middle East China's heavy dependence on Iranian oil maybe in jeopardy.  May seem for an opportune time to invade Taiwan, but IMO, not so.

I’m of a mind that it was a blunder to kill the nuclear agreement with Iran I just don’t think we would be here now, with that being said this is trumps war pure and simple he put the inevitable direction to this conclusion (I’m sorry I’m not expressing that in a more articulate manner) this is the result I wish it was otherwise….bombing a nation tends to unify that nation.ah well I hope it’s over with quickly and successfully.

Almost everyone wishes it were otherwise but Iran seems to be far from being unified.

This nuclear agreement was apparently not honoured by Iran.

"Since May 2019, however, Iran has continued to violate the terms of the JCPOA agreement. It has lifted the cap on its stockpile of uranium, which is now 30 times the level permitted; increased its enrichment activities to 60%".

Trump had told reporters he would make a decision on US involvement “within two weeks,” a remark that seemed designed to calm tensions and buy time for diplomatic maneuvering.

What a load of total BS - the media as usual have no idea. Trump was not going to tell Iran that the attacks were coming in a few days time.

However, in a dramatic turn of events, Trump announced through a post on Truth Social that the United States had carried out airstrikes on three key Iranian nuclear sites—

It was not a 'dramatic turn' at all - strikes like that take several days to organise and implement once the military equipment and personnel are in place - and then the POTUS gives the final 'go' order.

The MSM just cannot stand the fact that Trump does not make such announcements through them anymore - he is sick of their BS fake news reporting, and will continue to use social media instead of them whenever he chooses.

I don't care if you feel betrayed or not. You're not MAGA. You're just a Trump bootlicker.

And how do you know that this isn't going to be an endless war? Remember "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"?

How do you differentiate between a MAGA and a Trump bootlicker?

So one country attacks another country just because they can. Any sanctions for the aggression to follow? Europe, Japan, Australia, anyone dare to remove their tongue from the ass?

All those countries together couldn't take on Israel.

According to a report by the Reuters news agency citing a US official, the attack involved B-2 stealth bombers, aircraft known for their ability to penetrate dense air defenses and deliver bunker-buster bombs—suggesting that the operation was carefully calibrated to disable Iran’s most protected nuclear facilities.

Quite frankly this has ruined Top Gun Maverick for me now.   What were they thinking using F-18s for their strike with ridiculously difficult twists and turns and G forces via an almost impossible to negotiate canyon and having to line up a Luke Skywalker style missile shot (without the ability to use the force) and "2 miracles" when they could have just used B-2 stealth bombers from on high and been in and out without anyone noticing until it was too late?

"I'm sure that both House and Senate minority leaders were in the loop when Trump decided to pull this trigger."

Yeah, about that.

Trump administration briefed top Republicans before Iran strikes, but not Democrats

"President Donald Trump and his team were in contact with top congressional Republicans before his strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, but top Democrats were not told of his plans until after the bombs had dropped, according to multiple people familiar with the plans."

Boo Hoo!  Chucky and AOC’s squad were out of the loop.

Thank God!  They’d  F up a wet dream.

Nope, neither is. Expect lots of future TACOs and lots of Iranian nuclear ambition.

I’ve noticed an increase in job opportunities in LinkedIn for nuclear physicists.  Location, Iran.

Calibration of your crystal ball is needed.

You’re using the same specifications as the 2024 electron.

Way out of date.

Yes, and Trump's own chosen chief of the NSA testified in Congress only last March that there was no evidence that Iran was militarizing its nuclear endeavours. She hastily recanted within the last 72-hours or so.

Maybe Tulsi will be the first to go under the bus?

No. This was sorted out already.

There will be boots on the ground a line has been crossed there is only so much that can be achieved be air power alone.

This could very easily turn into another forever war hasn't any lessons been learned from Vietnam Afganistan Iraq this could very easily spread outside the confines of Israel and Iraq and terrorist attacks on countries supporting it have now become much more likely.

This is Trump and Netanyahu's war I just hope the UK and Europe dont get dragged into it.

A lot can be achieved through precision air power.

Nuclear facilities as we have witnessed.

Many more target folders are on someone’s desk.
