A lot of hot air coming out of your mouth.

You keep deflecting away from WW2.

You would be speaking German.

You do not know that, you are wildly guessing, in fact, the world now speaks MY language, English, even ASEAN countries have voted to use English as a communication language, not German or American lingo.....:intheclub:

A good move by the USA. There are risks, of course, but they are outweighed by the potential reward of preventing the current Iranian regime from arming itself with nuclear weaponry.

Agree. Better to be safe than sorry.

Trump has made thing only worse with his bombing.

Definitely made it worse for Iran and their nuclear program in tangible ways. The concept of FAFO.

“You can always count on America to do the right thing - After they’ve tried everything else “.  Winston Churchill

From my favorite British Statesman.

Still true today and in regards to Iran.

This could end up being Trump's Vietnam or Afghanistan, a 20 year war costing trillions. The difference being that neither of those nations had the kind of money that Iran has, nor the oil reserves, and the kind of international influence when it comes to terrorist organizations. The secondary aspect of this is that Iran has one of the most talented hacking teams on the planet so the amount of misery, damage and terror that they can rain down upon the US Mainland is unfathomable.

Trump of course doesn't know this because he's not someone who possesses any vision, he never reads anything, nor does he pay attention to his intelligence briefings. So he lives in a blissful state of ignorance 24/7, but some of us know better.

I'm not a supporter of Iran, nor am I a supporter of terror, however the Trump goes about things is always wrong, he never gets it right.

“he never gets it right “

Neither do you!

it's a bit longer but worth the read, I know it's from muslim Pakistan but they do have the right to their opinion, let's see if "that" moderator let it go

Another respondent quoted the point-blank congressional hearing of, Tulsi Gabbard, Director of the US intelligence.

Congressman: "Does Iran have nuclear weapons?"

Director: "No."

Congressman: "Is Iran building nuclear weapons?"

Director: "No."

To bomb or not to bomb but we all know one thing: The USAF can put bombs on target.  The USAF is the toughest branch of the US Militray to enlist and to obtain a commission and they prove it again and again.  Besides they get the most expensive aircraft and equipment.

On the otherhand I cannot believe this was tweeted by the LASD.  In my time(this was a long time ago) the LASD was an effective law enforcement agency that patrolled many parts of LA County, ran the county jails and were bailffs in courthouses.  As usual the current Sheriff, Robert Luna, is silent.  Luna shows he is just politician with a badge.

I don't know how I could be more angry right now, what a disaster.
Trump just shattered his political coalition ...

There are so many risks, a broader regional conflict, global oil market chaos not to mention dragging the likes of the other global superpowers into taking sides with Iran.

Americans don't want another forever war, but here we go. Buckle up. 👿

I don't know how I could be more angry right now, what a disaster.
Trump just shattered his political coalition ...

And yet............In his January inaugural address, Trump said "the US will measure our success not only by the battles we win but also by the wars that we end - and perhaps most importantly, the wars we never get into”. OOPS!

Also this from one of the GOP Senators.......“A new war would be a grave betrayal of the millions of working-class Americans who pulled for him last year seeking domestic revival, not foreign adventurism.”

Like it or not, a new war is what the US has got, although it will most likely be a covert war and be difficult to handle.

How long before the US or the US's overseas interests are attacked?

History would ask, should US tourists and expats be worried about their safety?

Thailand is listed as Level 1 with risk: Exercise normal precaution with higher security risk areas.  That is from US dept of State/travel advisories.

Did you know, "Benjamin Nenthanyu", for at least 30 years (starting when he was just an Isreali MP),he espoused the same rhetoric that "Iran is close to building their own nuclear deterrent" by producing  "the bomb".

This has been promoted throughout the course of "Western Media" for controlled reporting.

https://www.aljazeera.com/gallery/2025/6/18/the-history-of-netanyahus-rhetoric-on-irans-nuclear-ambitions.

You may scoff and diminish against the "source" of the recorded rhetoric exposed.

Persian / Iranian "History" does not start at the taking over of the "US Embassy" in Tehran.

What was the budget for North Vietnam, as opposed to South Vietnam.

What was the budget for North Korea as opposed to South Korea.

Budgets of an ability of military spending does not account for success in a a hostility arena.
