The clear/white recycled plate glass is the go "Eco Clear" Been using it for well over 10 years. It is without doubt the best on the market. Providing you pump & filter are the correct configuration then at night it looks like there is no water in the pool.

Very interesting topic for me.

Can anyone tell me if crushed plate glass is better than Zeolite for reducing turbidity in water?

Zeolite is a cage like structure and fills up with iron & algae. So it needs recharging (Cleaning) at some stage. Average every 5 years. If you have lots of metals in the supply water then earlier. (Iron & magnesium is high all over Sth East Asia)

"Eco Clear" is cleaned everytime you do a backwash. Even the biofilm is dispensed.
