On June 28, at 10:36 pm, Pattaya City Police received a report from 27-year-old Khanistha regarding a female suspect accused of stealing valuable items from a condominium in Soi Chaiyaphruek. The suspect, believed to be between 40 and 45 years old and reportedly homeless, was later found outside a convenience store in Soi Khao Phratamnak 5.

The incident dates back to the evening of June 26, when the suspect allegedly broke into the condominium, taking an iPhone 13, a designer handbag, a Marshall speaker, key cards, and an unspecified sum of cash. CCTV footage captured a woman in a blue outfit and white cap leaving the premises with two children, both appearing between five and eight years old.

After reporting the theft, Khanistha identified the suspect at the convenience store, prompting her immediate notification to the police, resulting in the woman's detention.

The suspect was found with two children of mixed African descent—a girl aged between five and eight, and a boy aged between five and six. The children were discovered sleeping on a mat at the beach, which drew sympathy from passersby.

Following her initial detention, the suspect was taken to Pattaya City Police Station for documentation and subsequently released pending further investigation. Authorities are actively collecting evidence to determine the next steps in the legal process.

Local welfare services are reported to be providing care for the children as the investigation continues. The police are working meticulously to piece together the events and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
