The question is was the copper justified in kicking him to his face when he was already down. Rightly the UK is pretty strict with anyone handing out some punishment, I think it's annoyed alot of people that these pair then had some solicitors trying to cash in on that kick by the police guy as some of form of police brutality, whilst not revealing their own actions. 

 

In my opinion the copper was justified, as no way he could tell this nutter would not get back up. In the US he probably would have been shot.

Aamer Anwar has never represented Shamima Begum. However, he did advocate that she should be brought back to the UK and face prosecution.

I know this might sound Whataboutery but what would you do if you were an armed officer and there was a possibility of this kind of thug grabbing your gun. I'd personally get him on the fllor and subdue him by all means even if it meant knocking him out.

Last year there were 230 plus attacks on police offers in the UK. 96% were carried out by white men, usually drunk and disorderly.

I think there has been heightened racism tensions in the area, especially with the usual racist crew stirring it up. 

 

Most people who followed the story to begin with did not have a grasp of the full picture. The saw a brown guy being tasered, collapse, and out of it, then an officer come and kick him in the face/head. It was a brutal video and a brutal kick. The two idiot brothers innocent act did not help their community either, combined with lawyers stirring it up as some sort of George Floyd type incident.

 

What they did not reveal or show was what happened leading up to that kick by the officer, namely there was alot of violence leading up to that point. I am not entirely sure how they believed they would get away with it, knowing full well there would be cameras everywhere showing what they did in the minutes leading up to it. 

 

These two idiots let their community down when the full facts came out, namely the idiot headbutted a female police officer as a particularly despicable act. Most who went and protested rightly now feel cheated when the full facts came out. 

 

Now we have racists calling them out, despite them just being another pair of plonkers.

The judge in this case has also given a media blackout to as he says people dividing the outcome of the decistion.

Aamer Anwar represented the family of Aqsa Mahmood, the first UK ISIS bride who helped recruit Shamima Begum and two other girls to join ISIS.   As @NanLaewstated,  he did indeed speak in favor of Begum's return to the U.K.  Aqsa Mahmood is believed to have been killed in 2019 in an ISIS war zone.

Well this looks like to body cam footage that apparently wasn't recorded because the body cams were off. Apparently not. Does look like a kick to the head to me but then I suppose it has to be seen in the context of the violence towards the police and the completely innocent member of the public. Look also like the mother was having a go. 

at 00:18 the one in blue lands a kick on the police. At 00:21 he lays the first police woman out on the ground then at 00:23 lays out the second police woman. Some self defence.

The jury have seen this and now cannot unsee it, the only 'defense' would be it was self defense which it clearly was not. The two thugs were  'under arrest' at this point, so the self defense excuse cannot hold up!
