A massive fire has broken out at a factory in the Ban Koh area of Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province, with flames spreading rapidly and causing extensive structural damage. As of noon on 7 July, the blaze remains out of control, with multiple explosions reported and parts of the factory buildings collapsing.

The fire was first reported at approximately 10:20 at HV FILA CO., LTD., 119/9 Moo 1, Ban Ko Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Sakhon District, which manufactures and distributes rubber products. Emergency services responded, deploying multiple fire engines to the scene. However, by 11:30, the situation had escalated significantly, with the entire area engulfed in flames and loud explosions being heard at intervals.

The intensity of the blaze has prompted firefighters to urgently request additional support from neighbouring districts. The structural integrity of the factory has been severely compromised, with visible signs of collapse and the fire spreading unchecked.

Local authorities have cordoned off the surrounding area to ensure public safety as firefighters battle to bring the blaze under control. No casualties have been reported so far, though the scale of the fire has made access to the interior of the buildings extremely dangerous.

A major fire broke out at a rubber manufacturing plant, injuring two people and causing extensive damage to the facility. Emergency services battled the blaze for hours as it rapidly spread through flammable materials stored inside the building.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 on 7 July, in Moo 1, Ban Ko Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province. According to the Samut Sakhon Public Relations Office, the fire originated from an oil pipeline connected to machinery used in the rubber production process. The highly flammable nature of the fuel, combined with large quantities of rubber products on site, caused the flames to spread with alarming speed.

Multiple fire engines from various local administrative organisations were dispatched to the scene, including teams from Ban Ko Subdistrict, Samut Sakhon Provincial Administration, and Bang Pla Municipality. Rescue workers from volunteer foundations also joined the firefighting effort.

The fire was finally brought under control after nearly four hours, although officials continued to spray water to prevent re-ignition due to residual heat and remaining fuel sources. The building sustained heavy structural damage, raising concerns about a potential further collapse. Fire crews were instructed to exercise extreme caution while operating inside.

Initial reports confirmed two injuries, one factory worker and one firefighter, both of whom were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

An initial inspection revealed the factory covered a large area of approximately four rai. Investigators believe the fire started when oil feeding the machinery started to leak and caught alight, although the precise cause of the leak remains undetermined. Factory staff reported that there were no signs of equipment malfunction prior to the fire.

Authorities have sealed off the site for further investigation. Forensic specialists and engineering experts will examine the site to determine the cause of the blaze and assess the integrity of the remaining structure. The full extent of the financial damage is still being calculated.
