Come on Transam. It was me who suggested McD's is a restaurant, so it is ME who has the honour of being called a Troll by HairyHarrisFan.

So McDonalds and a lake beach are the highlights. Enuff said.

I wonder about his waistline, if that's all he eats.

Why would anyone live on convenience food? Its hardly worse for calories than most restaurants though. Better than McDonalds.

The highlights are that some people start what is called a family.

Then you spend most of your time with your wife and child.

Bangkok must have lots to do, but you will spend a lot more money as well. And some people don't need all those distractions because they have family.

Hey for once I agree with harris.

There is only one way to cook, and that's at home using the best you can afford.

In the west.

So you are comparing a McD's in USA or UK or Europe, with a meal in most Thai restaurants?

What's the difference between Isaan and Chiang Mai?

Probably nothing.

So there must be lots of nice women out there in Isaan looking for foreign guys.

Catch them before they get desperate and move to Pattaya and screw up their body count.

Khao Soi and Fried rice and pork is high fat and high carb. No better than toasty.

However, for 20 I use my fingers AND toes, for 100 I must bring the 4 kids into the room.

Prime Burger: Prime Burger is a chain of burger restaurants found in various locations in Thailand, including Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Krabi, Phi Phi, and Koh Samui.

Not in Isaan.

What a clever incredible brilliant fresh alternative provocation. You must be one of those Isaan goats who really got stuck and burned there! Sorry, Goat

Sorry to hear

Stop looking, boys.

Jesus how bored must some people be to ask such stupid questions,   Why does anybody live anywhere ?

Pretty valid question though; why do expats live in a region of the country where few would choose to.
… posit because unawares farang got cajoled/ear-bashed into it. Personally wouldn’t have a woman dragging me around to live near her family, but each to their own. Some folk seem to like it there.

Yesterday long walk, today long walk. No 1 hobby here. Most farangs here sit around looking bored.

I was under the impression that putting short meaningless answers here on AN was your hobby.

How do you get time for long walks. I certainly don't, too busy replying to you. 555
