Gas Stations Changing Air Pump Heads?

Featured Replies

Okay, so all the gas/petrol stations around here have recently changed their air pump head from a T-head type to a straight Vertical head type, which may be excellent for cars, but makes it impossible to inflate my scooter tires/tyres.

Are there any T-head adapters/extensions that can be "plugged in" to these Vertical heads at the gas station?

Thanks muchly, scubascuba3 - looks like the correct thing and easy to keep in the scooter. I'll buy & try one out and see if it works. I presume one end just screws onto the scooter tire (after removing the plastic cap on the scooter tire valve) - and the other end connects to the air pump. 😊

To Will B - yep, our gas station air pumps are often broken or otherwise unusable - sometimes months before they're working again. I have an ordinary (manual) air pump at home, but now and then it's necessary to inflate the tires while on the road.  Nice pump, by the way!

Yes mine screwed on easy enough

Yes, that's very nice. However, I already have a home pump. 😊
