I catch the train from the border to another city. Get off wait for rideshare. This American guy is arguing with a tuk tuk driver and his partner. My gf says he wants to go to Laos. So I walk over offer some advice. Tells me he wants to go to the capital of Laos. I said you caught the train the wrong  direction. You have to go back. He said what time is the next train. I say there's a time board right there. I walk away. 5 mins later he's still arguing with his partner. Absolutely clueless.

When I was young and more foolish, I sometimes would be very impatient and lose my temper with service people over stupid stuff.

 

But I don't do that anymore. I am seldom in a major hurry, and I don't poison everyone around me with grumpiness. If I'm in a bad mood, I just keep to myself mostly. 

 

It becomes silly to be constantly grumpy and getting upset over every little thing.

At Nong Khai he sat there for an hour waiting for train. They put up the no plus destination. He even asked his gf. I can't believe he got on the wrong train. Ticket no is printed on it. I said just stay here as Laos is boring but he said he prepaid hotels. His gf was as useless as him. Tuk tuk drivers were all laughing.

Yeah well he had to wait 3 hours i think for next train back. Could find a nice restaurant. Turn a mistake into something good. The guy looked too dumb to do that. There's a few gun restaurants not far from train station. Some farangs are just too rigid.

As we know, tuk tuk drivers routinely drive into the the train station to discharge their fares underneath the train times board.
