I am in Prasat, Surin province, we can hear the Thai artillery firing on Cambodia. No international news as of yet but my wife has shown me news in Thai online. I thought it was thunder at first but it's 1,2,3, then silence, then it starts again, short and sharp.

Well, It's certainly in the Thai news now. 

Hopefully it won't really escalate.

My wife says she's been told that our village may be evacuated, we aren't too far off the Cambodian border. Apparently Cambodia has ordered conscription. She who must be obeyed says we aren't leaving, we aint afraid of no shells
