How long with Thailand post hold my package?

I ordered from ebay, i emailed my guesthouse, i've gone to for 10 years regularly, that the package was coming soon. It arrived - they did not pay the duty. It is now stored in Thailand post somewhere.  I am not planning to get to Bangkok for another 2 weeks.  Will the package still be there? Will they try to redeliver it to my guesthouse or is that it? I emailed the son again telling him to pay the duty, he just ignored me.  I guess ebay will refund me if it is returned?

Pay for it yourself. Contact Thailand Post to explain the situation. If you have the tracking info, they should be able to sort it for you.

It is likely at Postal Customs Service Division. Used to be near Hua Lampong but is now in Lak Si off Chaeng Wattana somewhere. They probably have a phone number and will be polite.

If you have a tracking number give them a call.

Ok, you are sure about that? I guess i don't have to do anything, I'll just collect my package when i arrive in two weeks.

Recently,  they kept a package for me about 3 weeks (sender for to write the house number)

If there is outstanding duty to be paid on your ebay item, then it is more likely to be gathering dust in some pigeonhole at some Customs office, I would have thought. People here are quick to criticise Thailand Post for any delays in receiving mail from abroad, whereas the accusatory finger of blame might IMHO be more appropriately pointed at those bunch of incompetents known as the Thai Customs Department - about whose (masterly in)activities Thailand Post can do SFA, of course.

I was told about a year ago at my post office that they keep parcels for 3 months.  However, I cannot verify the truth of this, but that’s what I was told.
