You forget about the agricultural industry all through both the San Joaquin and Sacramento valleys. California produces from  40 to 45% of Americas fruit and vegetables. 90% if it picked by Hispanic workers as its always been.  Guess what is happening to that production because of ICE?  Be ready for a steep rise in those prices.

The agricultural industry also predates Gavin.    Agriculture is 2 to 3% of the CA economy.
