Bangkok's aviation scene just got a significant boost as Acron Aviation's cutting-edge Airbus A320 simulator at the Bangkok Training Centre (BTC) has received the official nod from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This prestigious certification elevates the centre’s reputation, affirming its status as one of the leading pilot training hubs in the Asia-Pacific region.

The UK CAA inspectors commended the BTC team for their expertise, preparedness, and strict adherence to technical standards during the evaluative process. This approval enables the centre to offer CAA-compliant training programmes in the UK, aligning with the growing global demand for certified pilot instruction.

David Coward, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Training Services at Acron Aviation, hailed this achievement, marking it as a pivotal moment for their Bangkok operations. He stated, “The UK CAA approval is a key highlight of our commitment to delivering top-notch training solutions across various regulatory landscapes.” This certification not only enhances BTC’s training capacity for UK-regulated airlines but also strengthens ties with carriers from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Acron Aviation is renowned for offering customised training for airlines and training organisations worldwide. Their full flight simulators replicate real cockpit scenarios, from standard operations to emergency situations, ensuring pilots are effectively prepared for real-world challenges. With global aviation demand rebounding after the pandemic, centres like BTC play an essential role in addressing the pilot shortage.

Industry experts underscore the importance of certification centres, and with the UK CAA's endorsement, Acron Aviation cements its credibility in the industry. “This accreditation highlights not just our technical prowess but our dedication to safety and innovation in aviation training,” added Coward.

As Bangkok continues to expand its footprint in aviation training, Acron Aviation stands at the forefront, ready to meet the rising demands of the aviation sector. The UK brings prestige and sets the stage for future growth and collaboration with international airlines.

Acron also produce Driving Simulators. Perhaps the forward-thinking DLT locations around Thailand should consider introducing these......😋

Please consider the cost before making such rash  comments 😉

If no FAA., EASA or IATA certification, plainly the UK paper is not any worth.  The UK certification,  at best, will look good hung up on the wall !!
