August 28, 2025Aug 28 Hello Samui-ites I have been house-cleaning and decided to toss out several old but usable items of clothing, linens, and towels. My preference is to give to the Burmese community as their situation sucks badly, but would be happy to assist any needy person. Pre-Covid, I just asked my housekeeper to donate at the Burmese work camp nearby, but since then both my housekeeper and the work camp have gone. Anyone have a suggestion? Any one know the local equivalent of the Sally Ann (Salvation Army)? Anyone know of a reputable charity that might distribute? Would anyone use one of the temples? If so, which? Recommendations, references, and/or referrals gratefully accepted. Cheers SB
