A true test of Poland’s air defences would presumably involve a concentrated attack on a specific target. And Shahed drones – and their Russian-made clones, known as Geran – are a strange way to test defences as they are notoriously slow and heavy, unlike Russian cruise missiles or indeed hypersonic rockets like the nuclear-capable Kinzhal.

Like I said in an earlier post, the purpose was to test how much they can provoke.

At most, this can be described as a violation of airspace nothing more.

Stop amplifying the voices of warmongers who are desperate to drag Europe into a devastating war. Shut down that rhetoric instead of giving it a platform.

No one in their right mind wants escalation. Those who seize every opportunity to escalate are enemies of humanity itself. For the sake of those you love, be a voice for de-escalation, diplomacy, and real solutions that end wars not reckless proposals that create more of them.

 

And to Europeans: stop acting like fools. Talk to the Russia.

Why do those Poles escalate? Are you ready to die for Poznan or Byalostok? By the way, half of the modern Poland is a former Russian Empire’s territory! Don’t make Vlad mad, he has nukes. Poland should be excluded from Nato and presented to Russia as a sign of goodwill.

NATO invoked Art 4:  They'll collectively pat Poland on the head and give it a cup of warm milk and a biscuit.

Repeat after me: I never claimed there was an attack.

I made it clear in my first post on this topic, that it was a breach of Poland's airspace, to check how far they could go with provoking NATO.

 

If NATO let this pass, there maybe an attack next time

Why would Putin unnecessarily target Poland, or at least send drones into Polish airspace?

 

I assume for the same reason Assad always waited until his forces were just on the verge of taking a target before using chemical wunder waffels.

 

Why, oh why, do these despotic dictators always provide the perfect propaganda device just when it's needed most?

Invoke whatever you want, just don’t make Vlad angry. He has NUKES ! We all know that he is only interested in a couple of ukrainian villages, this is why he started this war. And even if he also wants a couple of Polish villages - please,  don’t make him angry, let him have those too!

Never mind it was not an Attack on Poland rubbish, it could well have been and many could have been killed by these Drones. Im sure Putin wouldn't waste money and drones for a folly he did it to provoke in the west. Like it or not the threat from Putin again mentioning Nuclear weapons is a threat he has used a few times we are not scared off as Europe has Nuclear Capabilities too. If it came to a war a European Army with all its might would defeat Russia. Trump is a bluffer saying this and that what has he done ? he first said he will put sanctions if Putin doesn't stop the killings in Ukraine then he gave Putin 2 weeks again the drones are still killing woman and children so forget about Trump he is a bluffer who has been seen by the west as a bluffer. And before the Trump fan cluc members jump in on this thread do it, but tell us what Trump has done to bring a ceasefire into place.

Yes, we should all learn from that wise bird called ostrich. Hide your head in the sand and all the troubles will definitely avoid you!  Talk to Vlad. Better do it on your knees. Kiss his feet if necessary. Nobody needs war!

Same as hitler when he invaded Poland using a false flag. Putin massed his troops along the Ukrainian border and told us they were on military Exercises a few days later he was bragging his flag will be hoisted up in the main square in kyev.

If I were Putin, I would definitely keep moving westward. The past three-plus years have revealed nothing but cowardice from Western civilization—weakness, denial, and an absolute unwillingness to face reality. With enemies this timid, it would be sheer stupidity to stop now. History always rewards decisiveness, never hesitation. They’ll hand Putin the whole of Eastern Europe without even blinking an eye.

Glory to the Ukrainian heroes! This people did not deserve you being a part of their “cowards’  union”.
