I would actually say that's true here, also. I am aware of a lot of the members who don't like me - they've made it pretty obvious. Similarly, I think I make my dislikes pretty plain. I can't think of one who has bothered to stab me in the back. The only difference is that to stay a member of TV, your flaming has to be a little less direct. If you flame like a TD'er, you're out the door! But I would still think most TV'ers are true to their likes & dislikes as far as other members are concerned. I've never found that aspect of TV to be a problem!

It's hard to say who are the best posters here, nearly everyone has their moments of brilliance but find it hard to maintain the standard.

cndvic, colpyat and sceadugenga are some of my favorites for consistantly good/interesting posts, but colpyat is always on the verge of being kicked off and I don't understand why.

Unless Old Croc and the banned member are one and the same I doubt he can draw any conclusions about the motivation for posting the picture. The banned member denies any ill intent and I believe him.

Yes I agree with this, a picture was posted on there but not specifically for it to be ridiculed, they guy who posted it seems like a good guy although he should really have been more responsible about posting the pic I would say because it's pretty obvious what is going to happen.

I disagree that TD is purely for entertainment, lots of information there, check the travel and construction in Thailand sub forums for some excellent threads.

Agreed, probably badly worded by me, I don't think the guy originally posted the pic for that purpose. (not sure what the purpose was!) One could argue he should have known the outcomes based on knowledge of his fellow members of that forum at the time, and he certainly didn't condemn the abuse nor try to remove the photos.

However, he later (after the crap from the first time had subsided) posted a whole series of photos of Tv members partying at the FC, in the members forum of TD. These photos included several mods and at least one Admin member. Perhaps you could explain his motives then. When I had a go at him for publishing them over there, he thanked me for giving him the extra publicity for his thread.

Sorry, those are the losers from the gulf coast. Andaman people are free, cool and easy. Really, just read the dissention on the Samui threads, and compare as against the "not in your face" Phuket threads.

And, to make it worse, the Samui folks are in for a LOT more pain now, with more development coming and shitty infrastructure.

Actually, in terms of Ulysses - there are some things i don't agree with him, but i can discuss these things with him with mutual respect, because he's a really nice bloke with a lot of honor in him. There are other things i do agree with him, and many things he says that make me think. So, yes, from my view he's a great poster who has behaved very honorable, especially to me.

As to speaking my mind, well, i got a warning status worse than Afghanisthan, and a few mods so badly after me arse that i am already sleeping with me back to the wall, soft parts tucked in, so what do expect?

I'll better swallow some comments along the line of "you pretentious prick", or "you moronic troglodyte" - "sad sycophant" is another one i would love to use at occasions - but i better stay with "i am sorry, but i slightly disagree here..."
