No, there is no evidence that violent video games is correlated with causing killings in real life. It's actually the opposite, it has been found that playing video games is beneficial for mental and hand dexterity.

Just as with Charlie Kirk, their only response is to type a laugh, as they lack any credible rebuttal. They are aware, on some level, that they have been misled and that much of what they were promised is untrue.
