  • You're confused again.    I have never excused the actions of this leftist murderer. I hope he gets the death penalty.    He was clearly brainwashed by the left wing msm and influe

  • Its funny watching leftists cope and try to twist this as a win for themselves. Mostly non americans here who dont realize they are losing voters fast

  • It's not complicated.   A kid from a good family who believed all the brainwashing from the msm and social media that the GOP are fascists/nazis etc.   Took it too far.

Well, thank you for illustrating the problem Peter Crow.

As everyone can see now, what we are dealing with. People who deny reality.

You are claiming an influencer is more dangerous than the arrested killer who just shot a man in front of his two children and wife. A killer who is about to face aggravated murder charges.

Yet you say this influencer is more dangerous than this man who will face the death penalty for killing someone.

How is one supposed to talk intelligently with people who deny reality?

I ask you?

You don't under what the freedom of speech means.    Freedom of speech means the government can't restrict the speech of a private citizen.  When someone is in the military, they have to follow the rules of the military.

Ironically, you posted this.

You make religious schools/schooling and religious instruction (outside of the home at least) illegal.......?

This is 100% anti-freedom of speech and religion.   You must be a Brit because you don't understand the connection between freedom of speech and religion.   You need to read the First Amendment in the US Bill of Rights.

I have the freedom to tell you to shut up.

I'm not in the UK, so I can't get arrested for telling you to shut up.

No, because everyone once again sees the left for what they really are.

So people  who's most radical ideas is slightly higher tax rates, or simply don't like the more extreme Trump ways of doing things and his policies, to those a bit more left that have ideas or policies on making a fairer society that are commonly implemented in other countries, to the few extreme anarchist types who want to change society wholesale and those who may have stupidly applauded what happened, are bundled together as left, and therefore bad. Seems a bit shallow and inane as a theory of a basis to condemn one half of the political spectrum if that's what you are saying.

Maybe you mean to say a tiny tiny subset of people who may or may not be left celebrated his death in an inappropriate manner.

Why did it make two?

And burning books is worse than shooting a father in front of his two children while his wife watches, is it?

MAGA : “The left will pay for what they did to Charlie! We demand justice! We demand blood! This means war!!!!!!”

MAGA: …”he's what now?”

MAGA: “Guys, now is not the time for hateful rhetoric. Let’s focus on the good Charlie did and keep him in our thoughts and prayers.”

not worth the bother

No, I meant what I said. I might feel differently if I saw anyone on the left taking the hard-leftists to task for their spewing hate.

Most liberals and even progressives are likely appalled at the murder, and disgusted but the response from the hard left.  Even they now see the hard left for what they are now.

You lump us all together, then seem to get all butt-hurt when you get lumped together.

I just watched this ... some clips of Charlie on campuses.

Things I liked:

- He said "it's time we start talking to the next generation and not talking down to the next generation".

- He seems to be actually trying to stimulate healthy debates with these students and pushing them to think.

What I didn't like:

- He mentions Jesus and being saved ... not sure that should be mixed with politics

Joke: The Dems want you to vote for a woman but they can't tell you what a woman is.

It seems he studied engineering for one semester at a state university, dropped out, and then attended a trade school to learn to be an electrician.

I don't see how even MAGAs could possibly see this as a path towards leftist indoctrination.

In my limited world of media and sites I have seen nothing but people condemning what happened - left and right. Some sites I see would probably be classified b you as far left - Daily Beast, Huffington Post , maybe you would call the Atlantic and Guardian far left - all the same. I haven't seen anything else except stories finding obscure non - entities making ill advised comments that few if any are supporting.

I say this  - young people tend to be to the left and young people make mistakes - it's a hard age to live in when a few silly comments - abhorrent as they may be - can affect your life in this way ... but it is what it is.

Conservative podcasters have the most class.  Everyone says so.  All the best people.

In the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination, part of a distressing wave of political violence stalking this country, it would seem that the United States is coming apart at the seams, poised at the precipice of disintegration. So much hatred, so much anger, so much toxic rot, and so many, many guns. We are boiling a poisonous stew. Can anyone save us? Is there anyone or anything that can possibly cool us to a simmer, at least? At this time, it appears not—in fact, frighteningly, the rage that got us to this grim, spooky moment seems only to be spiraling.

Charlie Kirk had barely been declared dead when President Trump hideously used his killing to falsely blame and attack the Left. Trump seized the moment of widespread mourning to spread more hatred and division, in a reckless, angry televised speech that hurled blame at the Left despite not a scintilla of evidence about Kirk’s assassin or their politics. In a predictable yet grotesque display, Trump raged, “For years, those on the radical Left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world’s worst mass murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now.”

Charlie Kirk, and many other haters led us into it. Kirk became a wealthy influencer by spreading toxic rage and fear and division.

We can honor the sadness millions are feeling over Kirk’s murder, and maintain basic civil human decency, while also being honest about the deeply harmful and offensive things Charlie Kirk said. We can condemn political violence and Kirk’s murder while also condemning Charlie Kirk for the rotten, vile hatred he fomented.

And yes, while respecting that many are mourning, this is precisely the time to remind people of the hatred and division Kirk sowed and profited handsomely from.

Still plagiarizing from others I see….unless you’re Christopher D. Cook.

You left out a few paragraphs I see.

Ladies and gentleman…I give you the ethics and honesty of a leftist.
